My sister received one of these letters a few months ago and went to the showcase. She never received her complimentary airline tickets or the 2 nights hotel stay. Now she's being bombarded with calls and never ending junkmail.
I had thought about seeing if it was the same place but after reading all the complaints on here I've decided against it.
Like my grandma used to say, "if it looks or sounds too good to be true then it probably is".
This is in Indianapolis, IN

We got the postcard, went to the show, they said we would get our "free cruise and airfare" to Alaska or Carribean. Plus dinner vouchers of $100.00. email within 48 hours after the show! NOTHING! I have called them several times, emailed the company American Savings Network directly ,called the number back on the postcard and left several messages for them to call me b ack.nothing! Next call is the Attorney general!

(Also posted in the Travel & Cruise Showcase 2022 thread)

We're seeing these in New Mexico as well. Just received this, apparently for a "showcase" at the Hilton Garden Inn in ABQ. Seems to be roughly the same setup as the rest of these we are seeing.

While it says, "not a timeshare or real estate solicitation," it's still (apparently) a vacation club membership they will try to sell you. That, coupled with the reported "processing fees" for the dinner coupons and cruise that we're seeing others report means that we will definitely avoid this! Thanks to other posters for the warning on these!

One wonders if the $49.95 cruise processing fee is a way to get people to say, "no, I won't pay that" -- and then they don't have to give you a cruise? Or, maybe there's no comp cruise to begin with? I'm not going to bother to find out.

I got the flyer in the mail for the free cruise vacation "in order to help promote a return to cruisng" the way the flyer looks is like it is comming from the Hampton Inn and Suites and sanctioned by Carnival. It also elludes their some huge showcase ( convention) they will be present at. I am a frequent traveler, and am a Gold member at many hotels, so my first thought was it was a solicition, due to my travel history. The flyer states its "not a timeshare". Yet, I was still suspicious. When you turn over the flyer, there is fine print that says the pictures are for illustration purposes only and they are not affiliated with any of these companies. They also don't list an address of the Hampton hotel. It just says "Join us at the Hampton". Looking for the company name I realize it's Travel showcase ( so, not a convention- thats the company name). Knowing it's sometype of travel scam/sales, I looked up the company. It seems they are bascially a timeshare, but for points. If you got suckered I to this- be careful when you try and cancel. Many of these companies have very strict cancelations, like making you send paperwork registered mail ( which is bascially sealed and padlocked at the post office and super expensive). Of you received this flyer. Put it in the trash where it belongs.

These are kinda scams (AMS American Travel Network/Services) to get you to buy quickly without doing any research; they have 15k plus plans and 4k plans but they don't tell you about the cheaper plans until you tell them you're not interested or it's too costly. Lots of hidden costs. Gifting the plan to 5 people is not reasonable; they are NOT BBB accredited; the lady showed us a BBB report on her phone (website) but she had scrolled down past the name of the business so it didn't even show what business it was. I went on BBB website and it showed it was not accredited. They use cruise line advertising but the teeny tiny print states its used for illustrative purposes only. (Right). Really, if they can get 1 person to sign up for the 15k plan, they've made their money and more than likely, that one older senior couple or just married younger couple fall for it. Oh--and they dis time share holders (they'll ask if you have them) and tell you "WE CAN GET YOU OUT OF IT"...(for a fee). DON'T DO IT...American Network Services or AMS is not worth it...you can travel cheaper...MUCH cheaper. Allll this talk about Bill Gates...yada yada yada and them not being on the Network (because you can track the legitimacy is really why) is a bunch of crap. Why wouldn't you be on the WORLD WIDE WEB if you're trying to market such a great travel package? That's because they are not. The internet is THEE best way to advertist any business, not word of mouth or offering fake packages that cost you so much more than traveling on you owen. They are full of it.

I was always told to look for misspelled words on things like this, found one. There is not alot of fine print on the back of this letter to cruise, so you'd think that any typos would be caught and corrected...Just sayin'
Cruising scam!

Received postcard today to attend this show at the Embassy Suites to recieve a "COMPLIMENTARY PROMOTIONAL 8 DAY/7 NIGHT CRUISE". "First 50 callers will also receive $100 dining savings card good at TGI Friday's, Black Angus Steakhouse, Bar Louie, and many more".

I called the number and was given a choice of time and date. I asked what airports were tge departures and about tge $100 savings card. I was told, "you will get that information at the show".

This Showcase awarded a cruise for 2 adults for either a 4,5, 7-night cruise just for attending. A retail value of up to $1289. In addition “As a BONUS: the first 50 Attendees will receive a bonus $100.00 dinner voucher good at over 45,000 restaurants.”
Efforts to reach Susan Broadbelt, or any live operator, at the only phone number listed (866-264-8735) is futile.
Apparently quite a scam!!!!!

How is that that there are so many complaints and these scammers are operating so brazenly in 3 and 4 star hotels
Without being rounded up and thrown into jail.
They make you fill out a form
Collect all kinds of info including drivers licence.
They are giving out xeroxed copies of coupans for resturants a free cruises when scanned asks for a code supposedly emailed to your mail.
O'course it's no ware to be found this so called fribis are nonexistent.
I am motified with myself getting sucked into this scam
And wasted an hr of my life.

Me & my husband went yesterday in Ohio. We bought the travel time for $9523.00. After arriving home I looked up the company in Sheridan, Wyoming. The Wyoming secretary of state told it all.
At first they were a corporation..
In 2008 they were inactive. Nothing from 2008 until June 2021. They became a TN, trade name in Wyoming. When they were a corporate they were in Fort Collins, CO.
About the non- letterhead on their documents. If they have been in service for 15 years they should be able to afford letterhead on their documents.
The salesperson name Alan Strickland didn't even have a business card.
We will be getting a refund today. I think their are a big SCAM. It's amazing how they operate.

I received this letter signed by Susan Broadbet inviting me and spouse or partner to “attend our newest VIP Program and Travel & Cruise Showcase 2023. Join us to learn about our Resorts newest VIP Program attempting to get America traveling again.” I thought it interesting that “all major cruise lines” had agreed to work together on this.

She offered a choice of a complimentary 4, 5, or 7-night cruise for 2 aboard your choice of major cruise lines or a 7-night condo stay at over 60 different “worldwide destinations.”

Of course there was pressure applied to call in seven days or the vouchers will be awarded to someone else. When you call now, you will receive a $50 gift card good at Chuck’s Steakhouse, Sea Captain’s House, or J Peters Grill. Claim number is NorthBeach23.
