I have extra vacation weeks with my Timeshare. I paid a fee for Corporate Rental Getaway to rent 4 weeks. After six months Leo Jamarson give instructions as if they’re going to pay me. The doc u sign says they have fulfilled their contract obligation for one week.

Time-share Answers issued me a contract guaranteeing to exit me from my timeshare within 24 months or they would return the contracted amount of $3195. They did not exit me from my contract and they DID NOT refund me the contracted amount.

A Marriott Timeshare owner I was contacted in August 2021 by Matthew L. Downing of Vacation Property Rentals offering to market Getaway Vacation weeks I have potential access for an upfront marketing fee of $1596. Mr. Downing explained his company had access to clients seeking vacation weeks and surely would provide me with offers that would exceed the marketing fee. Well nearly 2 years now, no offers and no rental income. Since I regretfully made this investment in 2021 I note over 100 people have also been similarly scammed and have submitted negative reviews with BBB.

The lady who identified herself as Stephanie Shelley tried to get me to purchase 6 weeks of RCI extra vacation weeks. She said they would pay me $1,400 per week in 60-90 days. When I hesitated, she said they will buy two of the week and they will still pay me for all six. The price was now $1,596 and she said I would receive $8,400 in 60-90 days. Shelley said they would email me a doc signature. I was hesitant, but leaning toward the scam, so I looked it up and found it as a scam on the internet. I told her I'm not going to go through with it, but I had given her my credit card information. She hung up quickly. I called my credit card company, locked the card and ordered a new one. I just want other people to know about this scam. It's definitely too good to be true, but I was being duped. I'm so glad for the people who wrote about this, as it prevented me from any damage, other than replacing my credit card and they have my person info; name, address etc.

I heard a radio ad in the early morning stating that the first 50 people to text a key word would receive a 4 day 3 night trip for only $99.00 it sounded to good to be true but after all it was on the radio so it couldn’t be fake. But I began seeing red flags when the website he gave me had no reviews on it and was very vague. After which he assured me that the website doesn’t matter and that I should buy right now before my spot was given away to the next person. Which was another red flag since I was 1 of 50 who qualified so who else could they give it to? I did end up giving him my phone number and my email address but when he said there wasn’t a physical location I could go to for this deal and that I would receive a tour only after paying the $99.00 I figured it must’ve been a scam. I’m not sure how they got a spot on a radio station but this is very risky considering normally I wouldn’t fall for things like this but since it was in the radio I thought I won something.
