*Their website is https://firearms-texas.com The ICANN Who Is search feature turns up nothing - identity is completely hidden.
*Their website's main page was copy/pasted right off a legitimate firearms store's online site. These [censored] say in the first line "Firearms Texas" but in the next paragraph it includes the legit store's name - Impact.
*they have a "toll-free" main number 956-253-3295 but 956 isnt toll-free. It's the area code for south texas, not houston.
*it also lists their address as 4340 Holmes Rd, Houston Tx 77051. A Google Streetview search shows a commercial building with a cheap banner "Mockingbird Precision Gunshop 713-955-5493"
*the BS contact info says their Contact Number is 940-600-1024 - but a reverse search on the number has it going to 916 Benjamin Court SE Rio Rancho NM 87124
*their email address is "[email protected]"
Their usual scam process has customers trying to place an order via credit card. But the scammer's "system" kicks it out and they say you have to pay by Zelle or CashApp or PayPal. Next step is they have you send it not as an online purchase but as if you are a friend sending money to a friend. That avoids the fraud firewalls at Zelle/CashApp/PayPal.
