An elderly patient was approached by Precision Diagnostics by phone about 1/27/2025 about "free" "neurological screening" which included an extensive panel of genetic laboratory testing that is clinically unnecessary and inappropriate and unlikely to be covered by insurance. The company faxed a form with patient's and provider's information filled in, requesting his physician to sign off those lab orders and fax them back, pretending they were requested by patient. Patient was unaware that he had given any consent for this.
