Tarifascodeal fraudulently charged me $270 to cancel American Airline tickets that they had fraudulently booked using my credit card without my authorization Reports & Reviews (1)

- Montebello, CA, USA

This online travel agency company, Tarifascodeal.com, is a scammer and needs to be put out of business.

On 12/6/24, Tarifascodeal fraudulently charged me $270 to cancel American Airline tickets that they had fraudulently booked using my credit card without my authorization in the first place. They got my credit card information by luring me to their website, using low fare airline tickets and then doing a bait and switch pricing tactics to charge me more.

When I refused to pay more and requested them to cancel my booking, they refused and pressed ahead with the American Airline ticket purchase on their own that I did not authorize.

When I disputed this unauthorized purchase with my credit card company, Capital One asked me to work it out with Tarifascodeal. That was when Tarifascodeal scammed me again for the second time by charging me $270 to cancel their fraudulent initial booking, and telling me that the $270 was to pay American Airline for cancelation. This was a pure lie because I ended up calling American Airline to clear up the fraudulent ticket purchase without incurring any cancelation fee, and American Airline told me that Tarisfacodeal never did contact them to make any cancelation.

I strongly implore that your office will start an investigation to close them down so that no more victims will fall prey into their unscrupulous business practices. There are so many complaints already filed with the Better Business Bureau regarding this company's scam and fraudulent business practices, and yet it is still able to have an active website now to scam more people. This is just appalling and your office needs to stop them. Thank you.
