Beware of Deceptive Practices by Sturdy Logo

While browsing the internet on my phone, I came across what appeared to be a promising opportunity from a logo company named Sturdy Logo, based in California, with the phone number 323-301-7709. The company advertised a single logo design service for $19.00, which seemed like a great deal. I decided to take advantage of this offer and paid upfront, thinking it was worth trying at such a low price.

However, shortly after making the purchase, I began receiving numerous calls from different phone numbers, all seemingly tied to the same company. When I explained the type of work I needed, the calls kept coming, many of them asking questions that felt unrelated to the logo service I was seeking.

It became clear that I had fallen victim to a bait-and-switch tactic. After purchasing the advertised $19.00 logo service, I was pressured into paying an additional $250 to continue the process. When I called the company to address this issue, they claimed they were still working on my project and were "trying to see what they could deliver for $19.00."

The experience was deeply frustrating. Their communication was poor, and their business practices felt intentionally deceptive. When I disputed the charge with my financial institution, the company responded under a completely different name and attempted to obscure the original purchase date, further complicating matters.

Their tactics rely on misleading advertisements, poor communication, and unethical billing practices. My advice to potential customers is simple: beware of such deceptive practices and think twice before engaging with this company.

Thank you.

The company offers cheaper options for graphic designs such as logos but continually upsells so that your product can be made. At the end they ask you pay a large scale amount for you to have rights to the work. If you don’t pay you don’t receive the product even though you have already paid for the graphic. I asked if there were any more costs after my first big payment and I was told no more. So it was all a lie.

I found sturdy logo online, I made an inquiry, and then when the logo service cost more than what it was advertised as I told them I was not interested. The next day, they reached out to me via text and gave me an offer to do all the work at a flat rate. We agreed on the rate and format I would receive my logo in. After 2 weeks of going back and forth, they finally delivered a logo to me. When it was time for me to get the logo, they said they would get back to me. When they got back to me the next day, they wanted to talk on the phone. At this time, they let me know they would not send me the logo without getting an additional $550 for filling fees, which was not necessary. The person on the phone with me was degrading, rude, and belligerent. I now have nothing for my business, I wasted $100 and 2 weeks of time I did not have. This is a scam and I am very disappointed.

The company advertised that it creates logos. It had a sale to get a basic logo for $19.00. They sent me a questionnaire to get a complete idea of what I wanted. I talk to a live person and he starts asking what I want to do with the logo. I tell them that I wanted to use it to advertise on the back window of my car. They say that is the $79.00 package. They show me some samples and they look okay and very close to what I am looking for. I pay $60. He asked permission to take the money from my card and I say yes. I can see both transactions in my bank account. A day or so later Jeramiah starts talking about the QR Code and a website for $1000. I say no thank you and give instructions to get the exact logo I like. A couple of days later Jeremiah Anthony (Projects Management Pro) shows the finished product and I love it. Then he says it needs to be a copyright or trademark and it will cost $1000. I told him I do not have that type of money and that if someone uses the logo, it will just have to be. He said it has to be done. The advertisement says complete ownership under the price for the service. I requested my money back with documentation via email that the money would be returned. The website also advertised that there is a money-back guarantee. I have not received the email or the money. The request for the money to be returned started today. I did not tell this scam company that I am contacting the BBB.
