Their return policy at Stacees.com states to put in a return ticket within 14 days of delivery to receive a refund. After following this policy to a tee and days of going back and forth with an AI chat because the company has no phone number, they never instruct the refund process and never give any refund. They act very nice in all their AI chats by saying "you should keep it and resell it" "we don't want you to have to pay for return shipping""we'll consider giving you $30" on a $200 untouched dress) "it's a pity you want to return such a beautiful dress".

SCAM SCAM SCAM!

junky dress quality, that was too big and will not accept any returns nor provide any refund!

Fake website that works with a fake delivery device to steal money. When you try to dispute they scam lie and offer lower amounts. Then tell you you will get full refund if you close dispute just to lie and claim they can't refund anymore. Thieves.

I purchased two Homecoming dresses in early September from Stacees.

I received an email a few days ago that said that the dresses had arrived but couldn't be delivered due to nobody being able to sign for them. My daughters were home all day and had received several Amazon packages, so I checked the Ring camera to see if they missed a delivery. Besides the two Amazon drivers, not a single person appeared on my driveway.

I checked the tracking number, and was surprised to see that it said that package was out for delivery on September 19th in Waukonda, Illinois, and then sent to the Mail Recovery Center . I reached out to Stacees immediately and notified them. They denied sending my packages to Waukonda and told me the issue was out of their hands and I'd have to call USPS.

Over the last few days, I called USPS multiple times and spoke to multiple different employees. I finally spoke to my local office today and was told by the Postmaster that:

1) the shipping label and postage are fake- they did not come from USPS.
2) While my name and address is on the shipping label, the tracking number and barcode list the delivery address as a completely different address in another state.
3) Despite their claims that each dress is handmade in Hong Kong, my package was originally shipped from "Keathers Fottyes, Galvin Drive, Elgin, IL 60124", NOT Stacees. I've been told that is the location of a warehouse.
3) The package only weighed 1 ounce at shipping, which cannot possibly hold 2 dresses.
4) The package cost $6.80 to ship, which is obviously also not the price to ship a package with two Homecoming dresses from Hong Kong.
5) Due to the wrong postage, weight, and the fact that the tracking information and barcode information did not match, the package was flagged as a scam, so it was sent to the Mail Recovery Center and I will never get it back. Stacees has responded to all of my emails with bot-like unprofessional responses. They blackmailed me to delete my negative reviews or they wouldn't give me my money back.

The dress site has a return policy and guarantee to appear legitimate. However, if you try to cancel or return; they will not provide how to return, do not refund, and eventually stops communicating. USPS shows it came from a Keathers Fottyes in CA. However, in the email they claimed extra shipping costs for β€œacross borders”

- Chino, CA, USA

I ordered a standard size dress. They shipped it and it arrived late. We tried returning it and they claimed it was custom made and unable to be returned. They offered me $30 refund.

- Oconomowoc, WI, USA

Stacees claims to allow returns but later say that the dress was custom made and refuses refund. Stacees uses the fact that their dresses are "made-to-order" as a reason for not accepting returns, even though this is not a valid reason to deny a refund when the dress is not as advertised.

After receiving a subpar product (and reviewing return policy prior to purchasing), I tried to return the dress but the customer service dept is refusing to take it. All requirements for return were met, but they are responding with a return policy that does not exist on the website and saying they will only refund $40 instead of the $171 I paid. When I ask where that policy exists in the website so I could confirm that maybe I was wrong, they are refusing to answer and continually saying that they won’t accept the dress and refund me my money.

- Jacksonville, FL, USA

This company sold me a dress (XS, black). I received it and tried it on and it was too big in every aspect. I immediately reached out the day I received it to initiate a return(the dress still has the tags and original packaging). Their return policy states, 14 days of receiving an item. Instead of allowing me a refund and return. They have attempted this:

"If you are not satisfied with the dress you received, we would like to remake a new dress for you at the lowest price $40.00 including shipping. You can choose the same or a different style you like on Stacees.com. As long as its unit price is close to the unit price of the original dress. We will provide free customized services so you will get a beautiful and fit dress. Meanwhile you can keep the original dress you received.

If it is ok, please tell us and then we will be able to confirm the details with you."

"Please allow me to share my idea first, thanks for your time. The returning shipping fee is paid by the customer and as you know, the delivery is unstable. Considering that you need pay extra cost, time and energy, we hope to provide you a better solution, so I have applied our manager to refund you $10 and you keep the dress directly. You can resell it for a profit.

Or we can remake a new dress for you at $30. Do you think this is okay?"

I have told them multiple times I want to return and refund and they are denying me this even though their policy states otherwise.

"Can I return the dress when I receive it?

If you change your mind about the order, please submit the return request within 14 days of receiving the order. Note that these are calendar days, so weekends are also considered. Also, This return period refers to the time frame for submitting your request, as long as you submit it within this time, the processing time is not included. Then we will assist you throughout the process until the issue is resolved to your satisfaction."

"Can I return the dress and have a exchange/alteration?

Unfortunately, we currently don't offer an exchange/alteration service for any items. Please return the order and place a new one.

We suggest our customers take the dress to a local tailor to do the alteration instead of returning to us, which might be quicker.

We also offer limited alteration reimbursement for all dresses, you can contact our after sales department by submitting a ticket."

According to their website policy they do not even allow for people to return items to be custom fit. However, that is what they are trying to get me to do and get more money from in.

This company makes wedding and bridal dresses . Items received look nothing like on website. Pulling teeth to get returns and want to charge you for shipping and cost of material. Read trustpilot as many many complaints. Happening in uk as well.

Product web photos very misleading/photoshopped. Actual product is of a much lower quality. Poor, inflexible customer service.

- Lynnfield, MA, USA

The business actively promoted product misinformation on their website, engaged in marketing fraud, and insisted on not providing refunds per their stated policy

- Wrightsville, PA, USA

Company does not stand by their 100% guarantee. Product was manufactured incorrectly and not usable. They refused to provide me with a full refund unless I paid to ship the dress back to China.

I ordered a dress for my daughter’s homecoming after reading that it could be easily returned. The dress didn’t fit, so I reached out and asked for a return and refund. Stacee’s then asked if I could give them $50 additionally to remake the dress to her measurements. I said no and got an additional response asking for pictures of the dress as proof that it hasn’t been worn. Then I was offered $20 to just keep the dress. Stacee’s complained that it was a hassle to return and it would take over a month to get a refund.

- Porter Ranch, CA, USA

Stacees has a very professional website. However, if you purchase any garment and it doesnt fit you will NOT receive a refund. Despite the lie written on the website. I have a record of numerous chats and emails requesting information to get my refund. They just stopped responding once their scam went through. It's been horrifying!

- Ashburn, VA, USA

I purchased a standard size( not custom made) prom dress for my daughter on 03/08/24. The dress arrived on 03/22/2024. The strapless dress did not stay up and fit my daughter in the chest area. I submitted a "ticket" so that I could return the dress on 03/22/24. They responded via email 3 days later asking for photos of the dress with the tag showing. I submitted the pictures as requested on 03/30/24. They responded back via email on 04/04/24" considering to reduce the return cost, time and energy, I offer you a suggestion to see if it works, we would like to remake a new dress for you at the lowest price $50.00 including shipping, you could choose any styles and color you like, and we could offer you free customized size. Do you think this will work? You can resell the dress you have received at the second- hand market to get some money." I have emailed them back stating I want my full refund and to return the dress as per the company policy that is stated on their website. The website states that standard sized dresses are returnable if requested within 14 days of receiving the item. The dress purchased is standard size and not custom made. The website does note that custom dresses are not returnable which is understandable. The website states they provide "no worry return" and "worry-free returns are available for standard sizes within 14 days". I am awaiting their next response and have also reached out to my credit card to dispute the charge in case they don't allow the return despite stated policy.

Their website says they refund. They are beating around the bush asking for 150.00 more for another poor quaility dress. They will not direct me to their supervisor, refund or allow me to return the dress.

- East Taunton, MA, USA

I have recently purchased a dress for my daughter’s prom. She looked at the site and it stated hassle free returns for 14 days. She received the dress and the material was cheap and it did not fit her. We attempted to return the dress but keep getting different responses like we will give you 40 dollars and you could resell the dress to make more money. There is no where on the site that states this would be the return policy. I explained that I just want my money back and I would like their address and phone number and have gotten no where. Please help. Thank you
