I applied for a Packer/ Sorter position on a job website called indeed. I received a phone call from Anne Williamson a couple of days later offering me the position with their company Speedway ship. I had a 20 mins phone interview explaining the position and duties. I was told that they are a 3rd party shipping company for their customers in Europe and Asia. They explained that these customers have a hard time using foreign credit cards and bank cards to purchase products from US companies a d website site so their customer purchases items through their company from stores in the US and they use Speedway Ship as their reshipper. This is a work from home job so I was looking for a good paying job that offers flexibility and this fit exactly what I was looking for. I was informed that packages will be shipped to my home and I have to open and inspect the packages to make sure there is no damages then remove all old labels take photos of the items uploaded it into a dashboard systems that was provided by the company and I given a username and password. Once I upload photos they then upload new shipping labels for me to ship the products, example fedex, UPS, USPS etc… I would then take these photos to the shipping carrier once I am done repacking them and put the new labels on. I process two shipments the first week. The second week I began to get suspicious when a package from Amazon was being delivered to me in someone else’s name and then I was asked by the Amazon delivery person to provide a code because it was an iPad so what Amazon does certain deliveries that have a high value they have an added customer protection which only the customer would know. Because I didn’t have the code Amazon took the package back. I called my supervisor and advised her that I needed a code they said they will get it and they never did, 2 days later Amazon tried to redeliver the package and again had to take it back because I didn’t have the code. I called speedway again and informed them of this issue, they said oh it taking longer than usual to get the code from there customer. That response didn’t sit right with me. I started googling the company name to check to see if they are a scam. I found pages and pages of victims just like me being victimizes by this company. They promised to pay us 30 days after higher and when the 30 days come you receive no pay. Your dashboard login no longer works and all the packages that were sent to your house and you repack and ship out were all bought using stolen credit cards information and we the “ packer and reshipper” were used a package Mules. I saw videos of other people who got scammed the same way. They thought they were working for a legitimate company when we were not. Another issue I notice is the new labels they sent us list our names and addresses as the shipper, we were shipping out packages that were going overseas from our name and address . None of the shipping labels they provided for us to reship the packages were in their company’s name which is Speedway Ship. By week two I email them and told them I am aware they are a scam and I no longer wanted anything to do with their company and I told them I will be reporting them. They are still trying to contact me because they want a couple of the items I recieved and still have on hand to turn over to the authorities when the time comes.

I was offered a ship from home job where I would earn a minimum of 3000 dollars a month by just picking up packages, taking a picture of the product and then shipping it. They even sennt me a w2 form for "tax purposes".

I was offered a job to do shipping but when I searched the business under ScamPulse.com the business was not shown. Then I called the number to thee address on Google and thee ACTUAL businesse that was there told me the business that hired me was a scam. They have my address, my name, birthdate, SSN. they even sent me a w4 form. I talked to 3 different “supervisors” and I even have a login on a dashboard. Shows me the packages being sent to me and everything. I believe my name is being use to order these packages.
