They mailed a letter saying final notice. It included my mom's mortgage company. It instructed her to call immediately. Once she called, they told her she had to purchase a home repair policy or she would lose her house. They asked for her bank account information. When she refused, they said well you must get your Social Security income some way, how do you get those. She told them and they said well then give us your bank account number. She would not do it. She said she could not afford this insurance. They told her to get a job at the post office. She eventually gave them her credit card number because they said the only way to save her house was to give them $100 down payment.
