I called about adding my frequent flyer number to my booking. They said my booking was only on standby and they could rebook it for an additional charge of $984.00 per person.I told them I had already paid 4000.00 per ticket and had proof of it.They said I could go to the airport and "they would tell me the same thing". After hanging up with them I found out that Singapore airlines had changed their contact phone number.They said they have heard similar complaints of people being overcharged for bogus reasons from that "3333 number recently.
