Sew Like A Rock Star Reports & Reviews (8)

I disputed a charge after repeatedly asking customer service for assistance. I was unable to access pdf files for patterns purchased. I questioned the lack of customer service, and no response. I went to the Facebook group, and again questioned why no response, What I received was bullying emails, threatened with a lawsuit for disputing the charge, accused of having more than 1 email address, and bombarded with negativity. I am attaching the response from The owner. These responses are aggressive and threatening.

You lost the lawsuit we have against you. Such a liar about two names, etc... you know you did.

I have experienced nothing but problems with this website. No patterns, no PDFs, funky video for one bag, and no response from support I am contacting my credit card company to rescind the vip charge. Thank heavens I only went for a year membership

It is interesting that Miss Sally says we lost the lawsuit……..also interesting that she is so proud and was
So greedy and quick to accept such a small compensation to make this blood sucking tick go away A frivolous lawsuit

You are using two names now - do you see this? You sign into this site as "Freeman" but your documents have Gfeller. A simple search (done by my attorney) found both names at the same address. We did answer you - but I would guess you don't check both of your emails. Without looking, I would bet you used an ipad or something like that wtihout setting up your preferred email. Could it be you whip out an email to us - and we responded to that email address but you didn't even know you were writing from that account?

I have had the same experience, the VIP membership is not cheap. You are promised video's exclusive patterns and time with the "Author" of the pattern. However there are always excuses for the pattern not to be done, technical issues so the patterns can't be uploaded and a whole manor of other excuses. However for the live feeds the video's work, where people can be slatted and called every name under the sun and for people to be hooked into the word of Sew like a Rockstar, how great it all is. Exclusive patterns and video's. I paid for two years, thinking that maybe this year I will get something. But no, nothing changed and by the sounds of it even after, nothing has changed. It is just a scam to make her rich!

Sew Like A Rock Star LLC (part of "Sew Much Nicer Community") charges a "membership" fee to access the "dozens and dozens" of "unique sewing patterns", "helpful videos", "pattern updates" and a "fun sewing experience". This all changes when you pay your money, open the group files and realize that nothing in there is what was promised. Four years members have been waiting for ONE updated pattern, there have been no video tutorials for any pattern except for a stolen pattern that is on the internet, from the actual designer, for FREE-with videos! You will be expelled from the group and your membership revoked if you ask where the promised product is; you will have to fight hard to get any refund. You also will be targeted, bullied, verbally abused and harassed by the members on the direction of and as well as the owner, Sally Thompson, you will be threatened with lawsuits, physical harm to you and your family as well as her contacting your employer or community to attempt to malign and disgrace you. This woman has no morals; she takes great pleasure in causing havoc and harm in the sewing community. She has taken, to date, over a million dollars in memberships and sales, with nothing produced that was promised in the last four years. There are thousands of members that have been targeted by this scammer and because she is such a convincing salesperson and liar, many more will be sucked into this. The threats from her had silenced many; there are many more now speaking out.

Interesting. This site looks like it started in 2019, but yet your review is dated 2018. Moreover, if I haven't EARNED a million dollars, how could I have scammed that much? You're all a bunch of liars that jumped on a weird bandwagon after my daughter was killed .
