I received a text asking if I had made a purchase of $1900 with my Discover card in Miami, Florida? I responded with "N" and they texted back that a representative would be in touch. The phone rang and a person claiming to be a representative from Discover Capital One said a purchase had been attempted with my credit card. They knew my address, email address, and birthdate. They said the purchase was linked to my bank account which they knew where I banked and transferred me to the "FBI" claiming to be in an investigation on the bank and wanted to know if I would agree to help them which I said yes. They set up account so they said with my money in it with the FDIC and sent me a link. They then wanted me to go to the bank and take out money and send it to them. Before it was too late, I realized this was a scam. I have contacted Discover, my bank and the local police.
