I have got a email that was winner of 699.000.0000 Dollars contact his associate. I can't hardly afford to drive to work the hole week and we have people like this that scam hard working people and get away with it ...It's sad. It'd no wonder everyone stays to there self and don't answer there phones iam afraid for are children let's put a stop to scammers and thief and all the money they get when they catch em they give to homeless and handicapped

I randomly get texts like this it would be nice if they would stop trying. No one is trying to get scammed and they tell on themselves. Just read what they say and you'll see missing words or incomplete sentences.

Supposedly Scott Godfrey is giving away $200,000.00 to select individuals, from the 6.9 million lottery winnings. I am to contact Jerry Smith at 530-556-1446 about my eligibility [I am eligible] and provide information to him.

I am not going to followup on this, although it would be wonderful if true, and I could also do some good with that money.

Received the text a few minutes ago. Noticed it was sent to multiple phone numbers. The scammer pretends to be Scott Godfrey ( a powerball winner) offering $300,000 to select person's. Instructs to contact a Mr Edward Paul by text.

Receive text on 4/7/22 sent to me and other phones of 202-246-5799, 202-867-1206, 202-534-0290, and 773-983-7697, the text message reads:

This is Scott Godfrey the Power ball winner of $699.8 million Powerball jackpot, Congratulations I'm using this time to give out 50 peoples $50,000.00 to each USA citizens, I'm donating to 50 random individuals, If you get this message then your number was selected after a spin ball, I really want you to remove Skepticism from your mind because this award is real and 100% legitimate from me Scot Godfrey and the most importantly this is to let you know that you're a winner of the sum of $50,000 (Thousand US Dollars) in the runner up.. NOTE "YOU"RE ONLY ALLOW TO PAY FOR THIS ACTIVATION FEES WHICH IS $200.
