I am actively looking for work on sites like Linkedin and often receive texts or emails regarding jobs but can always get ahold of an email address or phone number of the company. In this case, I could not.

Text offered job but referred to WhatsApp. WhatsApp person refused to use email. As a micro-influencer, it is common to use WhatsApp but not common to refuse a company email. On WhatsApp, Nastya did not know my name though Sutton, the text contact, did know my name and supposedly asked Nastya, the WhatsApp contact, to message me. She claimed she was in North Carolina but couldn't tell me what time it was there without a few moments notice. Wanted to do a "training" but become increasingly aggressive when I refused to add money or link a bank account. All money used was USDC or bitcoin based but she did not reference this, I went searching. She was adament about my depositing money before we could continue. The only information I gave was an email address.

I have video and screenshots saved of all information received.

I received a text saying I was selected after several online recruiting firms recommended me. They reviewed my resume and were inviting me for an interview for an information systems manager position. They were working with LOYALTYLION. I could earn $1000 for 4 days of remote work of 20-60 minutes/day. I was invited to join the interview at the number listed. I didn’t call I googled and saw it was a scam.

I have been applying to multiple jobs both in person and WFH and I applied to one for N-Gene Research Laboratories as a Data Entry Clerk which was WFH. I received and email from a Ms. Sara Brumfield from [email protected] and after going to the website it all looked legit and like a good company to be a part of so I sent an email back expressing my interest. I was then asked to send my resumé, a few days went by then I got another email. This one stated that I was a good fit and they would like to move forward and was asked to do an online test and fill out a personal information form (it only included information any company would ask for name, address, date of birth) so I did these. The next day to my surprise I received another email that said they wanted to move forward and even furnished me with an offer letter, so it was signed sealed and delivered. Then I got another email that they would be sending me the onboarding info shortly...then nothing. I even sent another email to [email protected] asking "Is this a scam?", and nothing.

This was a company stating to have a job , your balance would go in negative and you would be told you have to put account in positive to withdraw funds

Very similar experience to original poster. but I stopped contact before sending personal information, including W4 and direct deposit.

Please note that Medivis is a legit company, with the website medivis.com. The scammer registered the URL medivis.works In November then redirected their webpage to the legitimate website medivis.com.
