We recently had a severe hail event in our area. We have been inundated with storm chasers at our door, but the calls started recently from this "Red Balance Roofing" saying they would be in the neighborhood doing free roof inspections to "help homeowners." I asked them not to call multiple times, but they call daily from a different number. Caller always has an Indian accent, and always asks for (wife's name) and claims they got my number from public domain. My number is not listed on the home from the Appraisal District, so I don't know how they got my number and associated it with my wife (who is on the deed in public records). I never got to the point of giving out info, as I assumed it's a scam and can find no record of the business, but the guy freaked out a bit (maybe an act) when I told him I'd be reporting the business to the BBB.
