* ** ******* ********* ** ******** ******** ******** **** * QuickBooks customer for approximately 18 years. I use QuickBooks Online. Following login difficulties, callers claiming to represent QuickBooks contacted me repeatedly over approximately ten days before and including October 5, 2026. A caller using Hazel guided a password change by phone and discussed two accounts. Today, Hazel called telling me about major errors on my account. She handed me over to a "technical specialist" to help. A caller using Derek obtained remote control of my computer in a session associated with LogMeIn Rescue, claimed 7,500 errors, and proposed substantial recovery/protection charges. I observed the source view of https://qbo.intuit.com/app/billing and Citibank business information. I did not authorize their charges. An unauthorized ACH of $2,789.49 posted to my Citi business account and is under dispute. I cannot yet establish the route used to initiate it.
