We have had a few calls from Publishers Clearing House Prize Committee. They also sent me a 15 fax. Mentioned ScamPulse.com commending them. Stated I won over $6 Million. Also $10,000 a week for live. I also won a Malibu truck. I never heard of a Malibu truck. I initially did not know it was a scam. I spoke with my husband. He new it was a scam. They requested $50,000 upfront for taxes. They wanted a certified check. We sent it and stopped payment on the check. We were hopeful. We sent two checks for $24,000 and $24,115. I questioned why I was not sending the money to the IRS. 20 percent, I mailed the check and made it out to Vernita Lewis 459 Clay Rd. Searcy Arkansas 72143. Her phone number 541-620-5940. I cancelled the check and did not lose money. I have been receiving calls from David. My caller Id shows Jamaica 876-429-1844. We also wired $ 1885 May 16. The money was wired to Avalina Wygle Pueblo CO to TD Bank. We filed a police report with in Highland County Sheriffs Office. This happened when we were in Florida.

On April 22, 2018 I filed the below scam complaint. When I received my May 2018 phone bill there were two international charges on it.

4/22 11:44A 876-554-0466 Kingston JM - $1.99

4/22 11:53A 876-554-0466 Kingston JM - $7.96

I called Verizon and they gave me a credit on my next bill. That was very nice of Verizon. These charges were due to the below scam.

I received a phone call from a man. Caller ID was unknown number. He said that his name was James Bailey badge #1962. He stated that I was 1 or 200 Texans that had been chosen to receive an $800,000.00 check from the Publishing Clearing House. He asked me how I felt to win the money. I told him that I believed this was a scam. He told me that they were an "A" rated business with the ScamPulse.com. He gave me a conformation number. Then told me to call John Williams ph# 1-876-554-0466 to claim my money. I called the number and looked up scams on the ScamPulse.com website. As I started talking to John Williams he wanted my name and want me to spell it to him. I didn't give my name to him. I told him that it he was who he was saying he was, he would already have all my info. I also told him that I was logged into the ScamPulse.com website and there are complains about this scam. At that time he hung up on me.

The person was so very convincing, and called me from the following numbers 876-471-8553, primary, 217-727-6361, 909-487-0742. I asked for an itimized list of where the fees were applied, his employee information, and transcript of our call, since he said it was recorded. He claimed to have given me his personal bank account information to build my trust. When I questioned some of his contradictions he shut down, and told me they would then select another "winner". The names on the WU transfers were "Monkay Crewe, Boston, MA", and "Andrew Louizaire, Broklyn, NY". $500 each, and 2 amazon gift cards for $500, but was told they only used one, but both were redeemed.

Won 2.5 million dollars and a car I explained it was a scam and hung up.

- Topeka, KS, USA

A scammer using my friend’s Messenger account contacted me through Facebook Messenger and told me to call ?+1 (213) 534-8758? to get in contact with an agent at the Publishers Clearing House and wire them $750.00. They promised I would then win $80,000.00

- Palmer, AK, USA

A Mr. George Kennedy called and told me he was with PCH prize patrol and that I had won 5.8 million, a Mercedes Benz and 300 thousand plus in cash. He said that a TV crew, an IRS agent and the prize patrol would be out to my house this afternoon to deliver the prize. Then he tells me that the company had taken care of 99% of the taxes but I would need to register and pay $499, before they could deliver. I tried to get him to take the money out of the cash he would be delivering but he gave me a song and dance about needing to register by wire and pay at that time before they could deliver.. at this point I was positive this was a scam and didn’t need to do the research on line that I did. PCH will never ask for money and you won’t know you have won until the real prize patrol shows up on your doorstep!

i received a call on my landline today. The phone number in my caller ID is 404-400-3688. The caller stated it was Publishers Clearing. She asked me if I was sitting down. We have some news for you. Stated I won $500,000. Said they would deliver the prize to my home on ?May 23. They would be at my house between 9:00 - 11:00 A. M. I did not know for sure if it was a scam at this point. The more I thought about it I became suspicious. I did call the phone number but the line was busy.

I received a call from this number saying it was the Publishers Clearing House and that I had won a major prize. They said a few million dollars and a car. The people who had left me a message and spoke to me were a Michael Anderson and a Jim Kingston. I believe that these names were fake. I called PCH to verify that I had not won any prizes, and they confirmed to me that this was a scam. The message they had left me was asking me to call for further instructions about my winnings.

My elderly mother has received several calls from phone number 876-469-5303. The caller ID shows the number and cell phone JM. I answered the phone today. The caller sounded foreign. I called the Police and reported the call. The police advised I call the ScamPulse.com. The caller stated congratulations you have won a prize from Publishers Clearing House. The Cleveland OH police told me they have had many calls regarding this scam. The caller knew my mothers full name. Stated she won 1 million dollars & a car. Then the caller stated I won. I said you do not even know who I am. Wanted me to get a Green Dot card for $800 I believe. It was for taxes before they could bring the prize here. I knew it was a scam. I did not pay any money. I know it is a scam.

*** *** was the apparent name of the person who works for Publishers Clearing House. They called me to tell me I had won $2.5 million dollars. They made it sound like a legitimate winning until they told me I had to pay a fee to get my money. The fee was for $475.32. This is where the red flag got raised with me. They gave me a routing number and account number. I know you shouldn't have to pay to receive your winnings.
