I received a call stating I defaulted a Barclay’s Credit Shop card on 8/3/2021. The first person stated it was a Credit One card but then changed it to JP Morgan with Barclays. I have never had a Barclays card nor applied for one. They stated that it would be sent to my county court to start the garnishment process. They stated they had been calling me since April of 2026 but there has been no history of the number before the call I received. They sent me a generic email that made me question them more. They offered to lower the amount due from $4669.12 to $1800 with $231 a month in payments. I stated I’d call back and called Barclays. Barclays stated they had no account previous or current related to my information.
