I was first contacted by phone for a sweepstake 'win' supposedly from Publishers Clearinghouse. I called the number (listed above) and was speaking with James Teller, as I was told. Teller told me 'there would be taxes due' before I could receive the 'winnings'. An email was sent that included for W-2G, which I was told needed $8,995.50 (cashed on 9/10) for gambling taxes. I was given the address of KHANIEL PAUL, in NY (address above) and I was told he would handle all of these taxes due. I was then told $24,000 was needed for MI taxes, sent to the same person, same address (cashed on 9/12). I received a fake IRS letter stating I needed to pay $64,000, which I finally said NO to....James (the contact caller) will likely be calling me again on Monday, in an attempt to extort more money from me. BOTH of these checks were from a HELOC loan from my bank, State Savings Bank. I have saved all of the emails (the first one included a ScamPulse.com 'endorsement') and messages on my landline. I have reported this to the IRS, SSA, FTC, MI Attorney General's office, my bank and it was suggested I also make a local Sheriff Dept crime report, as well.

I recently a call stating it was from Publisher's Clearing House. They stated that I had won Mega Millions 8 million & 5000 a week. A new Ford & a gas card providing gas for a year.. I did believe that I had won. The ScamPulse.com ask if they wanted personal info. or money. No they did not. But the expert I spoke to said it is very likely a scam. I went on line & saw that others had recently received calls of the same kind. So I'm assuming that the call I received is also a scam.

Cell phone call saying that I was Publishers Clearing House winner of the lottery. They left a message asking me to call back. I did not. Verizon indicated it may be a scam call. I did not call back and deleted and reported Spam. I checked with a call to the ScamPulse.com office before initiating this e-mail report.

I recorded a phone call stating I had won $18.5M, $7K a week for life and a 2022 Mercedes Jeep. They asked to send an email that i'd have to fill out and return. A David Anderson contacted me the next day to see if I had received the email and said i'd have to get a Vanilla Gift Card at Walgreens, Rite Aid, etc. and call him back once I had the card. Originally asked for $500, told him I couldn't do that- $50 would be okay. Never went to buy card and haven't heard from them again.

Caller said I was second place winner of Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes . Contact name was Shawn McGuire . Several calls over day and half , said claims department would call . Received that call and finally got to the money question . They were requesting 3% of 950,000.00 . This was to be for a government insurance policy . Don’t give them anything . No personal information or banking information .

- West Branch, MI, USA

Caller identified himself as Dave Sayers from Publishers Clearing House with a $2.5 M check for me. Gave me a check number and asked me to hold. I hung up and he called back. When he asked why I told him I had heard Dave Sayers voice on video and he was not Dave. He hung up. He didn't ask for anything because I didn't give him the opportunity.

Mary Johnson called me said I won 2.5 million dollars from PCH and had me take in a total $9,369.10 from my cash advance charge card. They had a dummy account that would pay off my credit card so I could take out more and 4 day later it would post back to my credit card with fees and interest. First $3,800 was to pay for the clearance fees paid by sponsors, then when that amount was paid to Bank of America with a certified check that I couldn’t get from my bank and $800 to a Jerome Maurice Pinnock by western union in Jamaica they said Bank of America sent it back because the $3,000 money order wasn’t from my bank my bank was down that day. I should have taken that as a warning from God but the thought of winning that money I guess drove me to stupidity. Long story, then took $3,000 out of my personal accounts paid out more money orders and sent wire transactions to Jamaica and Netherlands and now I am out almost $13,000. Have more names all the text and emails they sent me. Don’t want anyone else to be caught up in this scam, sick and so mad at myself for falling for this scam. Just don’t want anyone else to be scammed. Wish they could be caught.
