The caller said their name is Jules Torres and they were looking for a family member. They provided a phone number to call back and a case number. It threatened a lawsuit and that it will proceed if they weren’t contacted.

They called my 83 yr old mother stating they were her bank and said someone was using her bank card and spent $ 200.00 , Asked her for her Social security number which she gave. After she told me, we contacted her bank and Social Security right away.

They continue to call her many times a day and night. Sometimes after 9 pm

Since 23 December 2024, I have been receiving voicemails from 475-200-0141. No names were given

Here is the transcription of the voicemail:

“Hello I'm calling you today as a courtesy your number was given as a point of contact to reach [name of a relative] please inform sales that they have been named as a person of interest interest in an important matter that requires their immediate attention federal law prohibits me from disclosing any further information if you know this person please press one now or contact us directly at 833-883-2793 again that phone number is 833-883-2793 thank you for your help today…”

Here are the dates and times received in EST:

23 Dec 2024 at 0959,

04 Jan 2025 at 0901,

10 Jan 2025 at 1018,

03 Feb 2025 at 1033.

I got a call from an anonymous number, the callers name was Josh, saying that they worked for Phone Solutions, a "free service" and spoke to the director of our company who said that they should call me, the office manager. The person asked for my email to send information to and said that I would receive a call from his advisor to ensure he called me. When I received that call I asked for more information of what the director of my company said and that person said that "they never spoke to (insert name here)", I told them that this is not what I was told and that if they wanted to send me information they could to the email I provided but that I was not going to give any more information, the person then hung up.

The owner Grant Urquhart of 312 tech repair knowingly sold me an iPhone 11 with a battery and screen made from non Apple parts. When I turned on my phone after inserting my sim card I received a message that the phone did not recognize the screen and battery as Apple products. When I confronted the business owner, he attempted to make me pay a $45 restocking fee in order to get $150 back for my original purchase.

This scammer originally contacted my son from (860) 337-8352 claiming I had listed him as a contact, then about fifteen minutes later left a message on my phone (iPhone tagged it as spam and silenced the call). Voicemail message claimed it was a time sensitive matter that I had to contact them about before litigation was started. Number left on voicemail was (351) 837-0407 which is a Massachusetts number. These people tried this last year around this time of the year also. Left a "file number" on the message. Uses a human voice at start, but a robot generated voice to say my name, improperly pronounced also, then goes back to the human voice for the "file number".

I didn’t answer the call, This is the voicemail that was left: “ You need to verify if the final details mostly related to your income and if you other minor items just to complete your approval could you please return my call at 877-867-5139 it would be ideal if we could finalize this before 5 PM Pacific time today however if you changed your mind would like to cancel your application or no longer wish to proceed please feel free to let us know as well when you give us a call back make sure to mention your application ID (with the same application ID as the above complaint) and also just a reminder my number is 877-867-5139 I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon thank you so much and have a wonderful day…”

The voice mail stated that this is a courtesy call and that my number was given as a Point of contact to a person I know. The message states that they should be informed that they have been named as a person of interest in an important matter that requires their immediate attention and that Federal Law prohibits them from disclosing any further information. The message went on to say that if I know this person that I should press 1 now or call them back at 833 883-2793.

They knew my name and last 4 of my social security number. They said I owed money to a pay advance company which I’ve never used. Lady was foreign. Deep African accent. I asked what country she was calling from. She then asked what country I’m from. I told her I’m American. She then said she was forwarding my case to a legal team and then hung up.
