They left voicemail twice on my landline for no reason, to call them back. Noone in my family know them or why they called and I don't have time to wait on the phone for a rep.

- Bowling Green, KY, USA

Same name, different numbers each time. Saying my business can get up to 26k per employee.

Had me call 833 928 7866. Email said my password was changed and to call them. Number I called was 833-928-7866. They asked me some guestions including my last four of my social security and my moms maiden name. I immediately contacted my credit card company and bank and placed a hold on my cards.

- Woodbridge, CT, USA

Called attempting to collect a debt for victorias secret didn't identify themselves or company had my social and new phone number that was not the number I had in 2016 when they claim the debt was. Had my parents address. Never opened the card they claim I had and is not or has not ever appeared on my credit report. Called back got the same rep Called back feom another number got a Becky in south Carolina said b2 management but that is not a creditor for victorias secret and has never been. original call was an angel in little neck new york based on the number. Clearly a scam to collect money

Received a phone call requesting to “approve payment” and to press one (1) or hang up to approve this so called “payment”. Only other option was to call back to cancel said “payment” - huge scam warning. I did not call back, instead reported it here.

Left a voicemail message about "everyone needs to have health insurance".. then I hung up.

- Logan, UT, USA

I recognized it was a scam, but still engaged in the conversation at first as a stupid gag. Didn't give away any information or money, etc.

They claimed to be Cathy from Singapore (working in SF). Sent a pic of a plausibly Singaporean woman eating a pastry at a restaurant. Asked if we knew each other from a work conference or similar event. I said no and marked the conversation as spam

I was woken up to a call i answer not knowing that i was half asleep. I recalled it and i was greeted by a italian sounded man who said they were from louisville ky. Said i have something and i told them idk. I gave them my name and i think birth but then they tryed asking over and over about the bill and when i said family and health my brain could think more after not being tired and i told them i dont trust you and hung up. I ran to a friend of mine where i lived at and she told me to tell yall.

These people called my 73 year old mother today 12/21/22 telling her she's being sued for some vitamins and supplements they claimed that she ordered, which she never did of course. The man on the phone called in Spanish, he had my mother's personal information such as name, phohne number and home address. He spoke in a threatening manner telling my mother she's being sued, that she should get a lawyer and that she will be served in 48hrs. It is obvious they target senior citizens to scared them, make them believe that they are in trouble and that they will be taken to court. This is horrible and this type of scammers should be persecuted for preying on the most vulnerable people.

I was contacted by phone on 6-3-19 and received a voice mail stating there was suspicious activity and they were suspending my social security number and I could press a number to receive more info. I was again called from a different number out of Dallas,TX saying saying there was a warrant for my arrest due to suspicious activity on my social security number. I was to speak to someone immediately or I would be arrested shortly. This was June 17th which happens to be my birthday. Not sure if it is related. I was also leaving the country on 6-3 when I got the first call so I'm not sure if it had something to do with that or not. I did not respond either time.

A recording says, “If you don't return the call, you will have to face the legal consequences.”

First Phone Call 877-457-7765 - no one speaks when you pick up. Second call moments later 609-998-8604 with ID 5045. They ask immediately "Is this (YOUR NAME HERE)?" As soon as you answer "YES" they hang up.

- Saint Paul, MN, USA

This was a telephone scam. They took $9,500 from me. It was a computer support scam. I paid them with gift cards. I have the phone number of somebody connected with this scam: 512-856-7181. How can you help?

I started receiving automated threats that legal action was.being taken against me and.I needed to call them. Then after a.couple of months, as I though it was a scam, I starts receiving messages from an actual person (middle eastern sounding), to call them, as legal action was being taken against me for delinquent credit accounts. This continued and the messages have become more caustic and very unnerving. I finally contact my bank who said they have had several complaints.when this is a scam. I am continuing to reach out to consumer fraud agencies to ensure this a scam, and I can move on.

- Springfield, MO, USA

Phone call stating calling regarding free security system, would not stop talking or hang up.

I received a text saying Hi *** you've won our Bismarck give away. Click here to receive it goo.gl/a18dWx

They sent that message twice back to back and I did not click on it.

- Springfield, MO, USA

I got a call from this number, a young man's voice, asking me, "Do you know who this is?" When he couldn't tell me his father's name, I called him on his scam. He told me that he had gone to a funeral in Nebraska and had a car accident and needed money.

I received a call on my home / office phone and the person asked to speak with the owner , I told him I was the owner , he stated that there was no longer a fee to use a visa card , He asked if my address was still the same , I asked him what the call was in reference to and he started MotherF--kin me so I just Laughed at him and hung up .
