The same guy texted me from 646.529.8791. I gave him my email, not really considering a scam because I was just so busy with my primary job, and just overlooked it. Anyways, this was our email thread. Completely a SCAM and I wasted way more time than I should have. BLOCK this guy immediately!

I received a text from the following phone number (+1 (334) 497-5656), in regards to finding my resume on Indeed and offering me a job with his self starter reality company. I didn’t initially respond and I received another text asking if I had received the first one. I responded that I had and asked what is the name of his company.
He replied again about being a startup reality and I would only be working with him until he could expand and on and on. He requested my email to send me information, but I replied that my email was on my resume.
I didn’t receive anything further.

Initial contact was made by text. First message “Hello [my full name], how are you doing today?”

Second “ I hope this message finds you well. I am Eric Moore, a self-starter real estate agent, reaching out to discuss an open administrative assistant position. I came across your resume on Indeed and, upon review, I believe you possess the qualifications and skills that align perfectly with this role. I wanted to inquire about your current availability for this position. If you are still open and interested, I would like to further discuss the opportunity with you. Please let me know at your earliest convenience.

Best regards,

Eric Moore.”

I responded with interest

Third “Kindly confirm if this is your correct email; [my email], So I can send you the job description.”

Fourth “I just sent you the job description, kindly review and get back to me via email.”

They asked to schedule an interview to be done via email. Did the email interview and was offered the job right away. They sent seemingly official documents in a separate email “welcome aboard”. The documents I received was job offer Welcome letter for Erica Clairvoyant .pdf>

I asked for a verification of who they were and the job offer. I emailed “photo of your business card or a similar official document with the current time written on it? Once verified, I will promptly send over the completed forms.”

They didn’t provide requested verification, instead tried to speak assures and attempted persuade me to send the documents.

I had also asked questions during the email interview the only answered one of the 6 questions question was

‘Can you tell me about you and your company? You mentioned you are a self-starter real estate agent, can you tell me more about that?’

First response

“As I have said in the introductory text, I am a self-starter real estate agent, I have the company registration ongoing with the proposed name: Century Homes. I currently apply and get contracts in my name, and I am located in Columbia,”

Second response after I pointed out that I didn’t receive their complete response.

“Like I have said before, I am a self-starter real estate agent, my company name is Skye-Cafe Realty, paperwork's are process as we speak. I recently lost my personal Linkedin account to a phishing email and I am trying to retrieve it. The company is a new one, I am currently looking for an assistant to grow and expand with.”</i-9></employee-timesheets>
