They are also in the practice of filling prescriptions twice when my doctor renews my prescriptions then charging me for 2 doses. Obviously when my doctor renews a prescription it should extend the amount of refills available, not count as 2 different prescriptions for the same medication. They will do this with every medication/prescription they received, with the exception of those prescriptions that are only legally allowed to be shipped once monthly.
The pharmacies affiliated with UsePhil.com are terrible and they will take advantage of every possible way to make money. If it hadn't been for the fact that they were not shipping me my medication once a month as required, I never would have known they were fraudulently getting paid by my insurance company for medication they never sent. They received payment for 12 doses in 8 months when I only require 1 dose a month and yet they were only able to ship me 3 of those doses in 8 months.
