Paid down payment-400-for puppy. Then was asked to pay 200 more for vet visit. Then 130 for shipping (originally planned to pick puppy up but she had an “emergency breeder meeting”). Then the shipping company she chose emailed asking for 350 for a special crate. After continued delays delivering the puppy and being asked for 420 for insurance documents from the shipper, I told both breeder and shipping I wouldn’t be paying that. I made the payments of 400, 200, 150, 350 via Apple Pay and Pay Pal.

Please get a police report and send it to [email protected] and they will block the website. Hostinger is the host.

I visited a web site which advertised exotic birds. I emailed the owner at her gmail account. She then began to message me through What's App. I sent the first payment for the bird, which was $689. Subsequently, I was told that I needed an additional $200 for special bird food. Lastly the specialized shipping crate was to cost me another $550. When the first $500 amount didn't go through, I sent another payment. Fortunately, I was able to stop payment on $500 when my bank told me that this was a scam. My payments were going to South Africa, not Virginia. I tried to cancel the PayPal transactions but was not able to do it.

the scammer attempts to sell boxer puppies online and delivers them and kept asking for money for vaccines and crate

- Bartlett, IL, USA

Made a purchase of a dog tic collar, The web sight says its 100% refund guaranteed with free shipping. The product came without ingredient list so I contacted them and asked for the ingredient list. The seller refused to send the list. My dog has seizures so it was important. I asked for a return/refund…..If I want a refund, not the entire amount, I have to send the item back to China at my expense as “we have no return facility in the USA”. No where on the sight does it say this stuff is shipped from China and they do not offer money back. You get web sight credit if you wont send back to China which is also not noted on the web sight and not for the full amount of the purchase.

- Katy, TX, USA

Cavalier King Charles puppies for sale, scammer reached out via email, sent a contract for the sale and arranged for delivery from petexpressdelivery.com. Paid the delivery fee and dog cost through a combination of Zelle and PayPal. The day of shipping/delivery, I received an email confirmation from the shipping company, with tracking number. Scammer sent me a photo of the puppy in a travel kennel. About an hour after “pick up” I check tracking and the shipment is on hold because it requires insurance. So I pay the insurance, which would be refunded upon delivery. Then the order is resumed, and about 3 hours before arrival, I get an email from shipping company that there’s a hold on the pet because of texas laws on incoming pets requiring microchip and a “site permit.” The options are that the dog be held in quarantine until these requirements are satisfied, or pay another $800 for immediate release. I refused and offered to have the dog returned to Arkansas, or I would drive to the hold location in TX to pick up. Scammer offered to pay partial fee, and I still refused to pay more and followed up twice on how to proceed to get the dog. No further response.

The seller had a Facebook page selling Doberman puppies and they required a $400.00 deposit. They then stopped all communication.

This person(s) attempted to take a $600 payment via PayPal. When I refused to make the payment, she used high pressure tactics. “I have another buyer”, etc. I called her veterinarian, and there were no records for her cats or her business. She provided me with a TICA certificate. My veterinarian confirmed it was fraudulent. She has a heavily followed Instagram page linked to the website. There is a photo of the 12 week old kitten she was attempting to sell me this spring on her Instagram. The photo was posted on her Instagram over a year ago. She refused to give me an address for pickup until I gave her $600. She never produced vet records. In addition, she used a different name for the PayPal transactions than the name she gave me. This is so sad. There are lots of vulnerable and trusting humans in this world. This is a scam.

- La Pine, OR, USA

Attempted to purchase a Doberman Pinscher puppy from this outfit. They requested payment via Chime, Zelle or Apple Pay. When i was unable to do this I was told they could take paument by American Express gift card. Unfortunately i did so knowing it was a poor decision.

Once they finally decided to "ship" the puppy i received notice from Flyapex with travel itinerary.

Shortly after, i received another email indicating the crate used for the puppy did not meet airline requirements. They said I needed to "rent" a crate for $1500 totally refundable. They stated they only took American Express gift cards. I notified the breeder who said shed split the difference. I declined. I am now reporting.

I paid in full to bullies breeders for a puppy. They told me today 4-12-24 that she was headed to shipping. Then emailed back and said they didn’t have the proper crate and needed 999.00 for a crate. They will not respond at all. They will not send the puppy. I’m reporting this so hopefully no one will make the same mistake. If it’s too good to be true then it isn’t.

Morgan Johesen Kelvin, owner of Affectionate Pigs agreed in a contract to sell us two piglets for $1200. He wanted us to pay him through Zelle however we decided to make arrangements to drive down to Florida to pay him and pick up the pigs in-person. When we arrived in Florida, despite having a signed contract with the seller he cut off all communication and did not meet us at the agreed upon location. We never received our piglets.

I reached out to the person on a Facebook group where you can adopt/buy Siberian kittens. They told me that if i wanted the kitten I would need to reserve him for $600 so I sent the money via Zelle to Laniyah Curry her email is [email protected]. After that money was received the next step was to get the contract signed, once that was signed, I would send the next $400, I signed the contract and sent the money. The following morning, they claimed they never received the money and sent me a photo of an email they received from their bank saying the money can't come through. The Zelle information from that transaction was Shenine Ragland and her email is [email protected]. They gave me a replacement email to send the replacement $400 to which was Mohamed Ba and his phone number is 614-601-7818. After receiving that money they said they would keep me updated with photos of the kitten until he was dropped off. At drop off the final $300 dollars would be paid. I went onto Facebook today to ask for photos of the kitten and i could not send any messages or call, and all of their messages were no longer visible to me. I tried to call the number on the contract, and it is not real. I looked up the number that was linked with the Mohamed Ba Zelle account and it is listed in Ohio, the people claimed to be in Nebraska. The number belongs to a man named Jacquise Renee Hogan.

I went on line and found golden doodles for sale. March 25, 2024 I put in a purchase for one of the dogs. Racheal Tanle[censored] contacted me. The dog was listed at $350 with free shipping, money back guarantee and a secure payment. I agreed to the dog. She then informed the dog was $600 due to including all paperwork to transfer paper, his crate, toys, food. I could put $300 down and pay the other free upon delivery. She then said she was taking him to the vet for a final check up. She texted me the vet bill was $700. I refused to pay. She said she would pay $300 and I could pay $400. I refused to pay for a dog I did not own. The vet exam was complete, she sent me a picture of a large intestinal worm. I paid #300 through my Pay Pal account. She then informed me that she would fly him from San Francisco to Reno but I would have to pay $500 for transport insurance. I checked the company. It was a scam company. I informed Racheal and asked that she find another company. She found Quick International Services. I checked on line and they had good reviews. I was to send $1800 to http://flutterwave.com/pay/fqptyjlemnfh in two payments which would be refund upon delivery of the dog. My first installment of $1000 would not go through so they offered for me to pay through Pay Pal to [email protected] (Steven Thompson) once they received notice of that payment then my next of $800 would be due, refundable. I tried to send it but Pay Pal would not allow me to do that. Meanwhile Racheal informed me I would also need to pay another $500, refundable, for an electronic crate to transport. I refused. After 3.5 hours of work I found Pay Pal had froze my account. There had been 9 attempts to access my account from 'unknown devices'. I then refused any more payment to either Rachel or the transport company. Rachel encouraged me to purchase a cash card and use that or go on apple pay. I refused. I encouraged Racheal to work it out with the transport company and crate. If the money was refundable she would be refunded and when I received a healthy dog I would be refunded my $1000 and pay her the balance due of $300. She refused and then sent me numerous texts over the next 24 hours begging me to pay the $800 but she found a crate so I would not need to worry about that. Then I received a fraud alert on the other credit card linked to my Pay Pal. It was an attempt for an addition payment of $1000 to Nigeria! My credit card company also stated there was a large payment plan on my credit card from March 25 - 27. We froze all those claims, destroyed my cards, and cleaned out any other bogus claims on my credit card. Meanwhile Racheal is still texting and begging me to send the $800 to the transport company. I had sent emails to [email protected] who appartently was the contact at the transport company. I explained the situation to Racheal and she continued to demand the $800. I did futher reasearch and found Rachel said she was in North Beach California but the website states the dogs are in Texas and the vet verification she sent me was from Idaho. She attempted to validate all. I asked Racheal to either send the dog or refund my $300. She said when she sold the dog she would refund me. I researched the company, there is not San Francisco address the company is in Eugene Oregon. I requested my $1000 to be returned. They denied it as Racheal had registered with them. I asked Racheal to clear it up with the company. She said she would but I don't know if she did as they are still denying return of my money as is she. I finally had to block her from texting me or contacting me through Facebook.
