[email protected] Reports & Reviews (1)

- Mesa, AZ, USA • May 13, 2023

On 2/28/2023, I received an email from a 'Shanda Meader' stating that my resume was reviewed on Indeed.com and that there was a job opening for a 'Quality Management Assistant at PSG Limited Liability Company'. I responded to the email stating I would be interested. I then received an email from a 'Kayla Barker' from Embrant.com containing a formal invitation for the position and that I was to respond to this email to proceed with the interview process. The link in the email checked out as being legitimate.

I completed the interview form and had a subsequent phone interview on 3/3/2023.

Following Monday (3/6/2023), I was notified via email that based on the results of the interview, I was offered position as Inventory Operator (which is a work from home position). There would be an initial probationary period of 30 days from the date of the first processed package (which was on 3/10/2023) and at the end of the probationary period, I was to be paid $3250.00 in the form of a paper check that would be mailed to me. I thought that odd at the time, however, the Embrant.com website and contact information checked out as well as checking email header information for spam, etc. so I agreed to start the work.

I was given log-in information to a CRM web application (https://freight-crm.com/orders.php) to process any incoming packages and ship them back out via FedEx or UPS. All procedures were included in training documentation sent to me on how to process the packages.

I am in receipt of an email delivered 4/10.2023, stating the paper check has been mailed and that a decision will be made on whether to have me as full time permanent within the next 10 days.

As of 4/24/2023, I have not received the paper check and in a subsequent email inquiry, I was asked if I wanted to have them cancel the supposed mailed paper check and they ‘would’ reissue another check. I responded that I would allow some additional time for the USPS mailed check to be delivered. In addition, I have not been notified by Embrant with any offer to continue as a permanent employee and as of 4/21/2023, the log-in credentials supplied to me have been revoked.

I have periodically checked various websites for the legitimacy of Embrant.com and have not found much to speak of either negative or positive, however, I have not been able to actually contact anyone directly via phone from the company (contact numbers listed below). I also have read several reports on various news agencies, etc. stating that the likelihood of a 're-shipper' job as being legitimate is very low. Wanted to go 'on the record' for future purposes and protection.
