I attempted to purchase a Cub Cadet Zero Turn mower through Cub Cadet's website (which seemed to be their legitimate website). Since I was looking to finance my purchase, I was directed to a screen to input some details to apply for a loan. I did this, and the order was confirmed (received a confirmation email and everything). I even had the bagger attachment delivered to my house. When difficulties began to arise in terms of delivering the actual Zero Turn mower, I canceled the order with Cub Cadet. However, my initial $500 payment had been debited from my bank account. That has since sent me into a constant state of trying to recover my funds from this Outdoor Power Programs entity, which I now believe to be nothing more than a scam. Lesson learned: I will be purchasing my mower in person from here on out, and encourage everyone else to do the same. However, if there's anything that can be done to get my $500 back, I'd certainly appreciate it.
