I was in my office on November 29, 2024 and received a message from comcast Xfinity, Hello, tis is Comcast xfinity, we are notifying you that your 50% discount on your monthly bill will be removed at the end of today to ensure your current rate. Stay active call the number on your caller ID immediately thank you". Then I called and they said Target and Xfinity are doing promotion on Black Friday to lower my monthly bill from 300 dollars to 140 dollars. They gave me two options of getting a credit card from target or buying 840 dollars gift card to secure the deal and I don't have to pay for 6 months. They said the gift card should be 280 dollars each X 3 because of the loading. I went and got 500 dollars and 300 dollars gift card and they said they voided the 500 because it did not work. They said I would get a refund through mail from Target because of that. They advised me to buy 2 250 dollars gift card which I did for a total of 1340 dollars. They sent me a text that I should act now to receive 840 dollars in Target. Call 8655 5263779 today to finalize your offer. All these happened on Friday. Got a text from them on Monday Xfinity alert: we are facing problems with your payments. Call 18553312024 to avoid inconvenience. The text came from this number 9453480698. Then I called back they told me that my Target gift card did not go through so they voided all of it and they were going to put the refund in the mail. they advised me to go back and get 280 X 3 in Target gift card to secure the deal. When I said i did not have money, the guy started yelling at me and call me stupid, dumb and [censored]. Got another text from this number 5153169959 that Xfinity Alert: your services, promotion and your refund are getting cancelled along with a 1000 dollars fine. Call 18552827150 to avoid inconvenience. That was when I call my bank, target and the police. That was when I realized all these were not from Xfinity. If you call the numbers , it gave Xfinity dialing numbers and messages.
