I ordered 2 copies of my birth certificate Aug 1st and I paid for 2 copies. I assumed It's was vital Illinois that I was placing my ordered. It's now mid Sept and still nothing. I called vital Illinois and they never received a request from me. I stayed on hold for 2hrs to find out it was fraudulent I paid $47 for nothing.

I ordered 2 copies of my son's birth certificate. They were supposed to send me an email where I would finish an application, print it and mail it to California. BUT, they were quick to charge my credit card $47.00 on Aug. 27, 2020. I have received no email from them, I have received nothing from them. They did nothing for me, but charged my credit card $47. they have NO EMAIL to be reached. The phone is never answered. Date is Sept. 8th. 2020 today. These people are crooks. I am disputing the charge with my CHASE credit card. It will be a long process.

I too was scammed, I ordered an online birth certificate, was charged $47.00. When I sent the online application to the Virginia Vital Records in Richmond I was told I was scammed. It only costs $12.00 for a replacement birth certificate. I hope this site will be shutdown.

On June 19, 2020, I requested my birth certificate from Mankato, Minnesota, believing I was on the official vital-records site. I paid $47 for the certificate; I never received it. Today I called the MN Vital Records department, and was told that they have no record of my request, and that they don’t even do online requests.
Apparently I’ve been scammed.
