I booked a flight on this site and within seconds of clicking "Pay Now" my phone rang from 1-646-880-6571 with an Asian man with a heavy accent, telling me that my reservation was on hold. He proceeded to tell me that the basic economy seat that I booked for $426 was not available but normal economy, that included a carry-on was available for $798. When I told him that I wasn't interested in paying more than what I had booked, he became somewhat aggressive, saying that the airline was charging over $1,500 on it's website so i was very fortunate to have this incredible offer. When I again declined and told him to cancel my reservation, he suggested that he would speak to his supervisor to see if he could get me a better deal and he would call me back, (sure that's how booking a fight on-line works). He has called me back 4 times already, which I haven't answered. I remained pleasant and confirmed with him that my credit card had not been charged, he assured me that it was not and I told him that I would be calling my bank immediately to prevent any charges.

I knew as soon as I received that phone call, I knew that this is a Scam Site, I've booked online many times with no issues. Unfortunately, they now have all my personal information and credit card information. Yes, I can cancel my credit card but my personal information is now and forever at risk of being used in any number of nefarious ways, including opening new credit cards in my name. I will have to contact the credit bureaus to flag any new credit requests.
