He sent a contract including requesting my drivers liscense for delivery. Once signed he insisted payment either through a wire or through PayPal freinds and family (not a purchase), which has no protection or recourse if the cat is not delivered--pretty typical of scammers. When I insisted on a more secure payment method for delivery kitten, he claimed he couldn't deliver it without the freinds and family option. He then offered to take half and the rest after shipment. I refused and he responded with an angry, beligerant text claiming I wasted his time--clearly no reputable breeder would act this way. Other red flags: He sent a bogus TICA registration, under the name of Robert Caywood who does not exist and the Russian Blue Kennel is NOT registered under TICA. He also claimed to be Robert Caywood and "inhereted the kennel from his father"--the address provided for the kennel 10780 Burlington Way North, Mobile Alabama--is regestered uner a different name.
