I received a call from a foreign woman stating that someone in Texas purchased a 2025 Play Station. She asked me if my son's name was Erik. Also that there were 10 other fake accounts created in my name. They were going to get to the bottom of this and report the scam to the Treasury Dept. In the meantime, I could hear another scammer in the background say the same type scenario to another unsuspecting person who didnt know that they were getting scammed yet. My scammer asked if I ever used public wifi. Also she said that my son would be getting a phone call. Unbeknownst to her that my son is in a rehab facility with no job or credit card. Thats when it hit home for me.
