NYC PHONE BUYER LLC Reports & Reviews (2)

- Southborough, MA, USA

The scammer advertised itself as an online phone buyer company. I sent them an open-box S24 Plus (MSRP $999) with an agreed sale price of $520. Upon receiving the phone, they gave a lowball offer which I refused to take. They then told me my phone will be shipped back to me by USPS and provided the tracking number xxxxxxxxxx on Oct 7, 2024. But they never delivered the phone to USPS. When I reached out to them, they gave me an excuse that they were collating all returns to be shipping in bulk. Now it has been over 50 days since the shipping label was created and the phone is still in their possession.

- Los Angeles, CA, USA

This company offers to buy back unused technology including mobile phones and tablets. I signed an agreement to send my phone to them for nearly $400. They have promised to pay in 2-3days and it has been over a month with excuse after excuse via email and no payment, even after I've confirmed and accepted my offer for payment, which they've strategically lowered after receiving my product with no explanation (it is a brand new iPhone). They take consumers' products and don't pay as they advertise, and instead turn around and sell your product for a higher price and do not pay the consumer per the agreement signed. It has been over a month with no resolution and no response after multiple email follow-ups and calls.
