Hired then for their marketing services. They made all sorts of claims from their CEO Mitch Gould on how much they can build the business within a year. The made all sorts of mistakes on billing’s, their supposed PR releases etc etc. when I finally cancelled the contract, they blocked me from all emails and disappeared. They are a scam

I recently got this spam from their rep (see end of post)

I am an international (non US) based small business. As Mark explains, NPI wants to help me distribute products into USA. Great, it's a big market, lots of opportunity.

Sadly, I don't sell Nutritional Products. Not health products. Actually, I don't sell products at all, I'm a service based business.

They sent it from my website contact form. There's absolutely nothing in my site to suggest I have anything related to health, nutrition. It's clear I'm in services and have no way to do anything with USA. Why did they email me? Is it a real person, or an automated messaging bot? Who knows?

I did some digging, and it seems this is their mode of operation for many years. Hopefully more people will find this info and inform their decision.

Their email follows:

I received exactly the same message from this company and this Mark Schaefer on the comment section of my lifestyle blog, and I'm not based in the US but in Europe. Suspicious, I googled the name of their company and was surprised to come across their official website, looked at the section introducing the employees and saw that there was indeed a Mark Schaefer. However, I still wanted to investigate further as I was still not convinced, and I have just come across your query - I realise that this is (very) probably a scam and that the message they sent is just spam. Thanks for your comment, I will delete their message and block them.

I applied for a job at Nutritional Products International through Indeed.com. I received a message via Indeed saying to contact their director of HR, a David Pott [email protected]. This David Potts (suddenly gaining an S in his last name) emailed me saying that the position at the company had been filled, but he had another offer for me as the personal assistant of a Program Manger who'd be moving to the area, Mike. David referred to Mike a few times in his email, and eventually called him "Charles". I then received and email from Mike [email protected] and the email just seemed fishy. An internet search took me to his website, where I found out he had already scammed others. Thanks to the soul who shared the info. I am in the process of informing Nutritional Products International that their name has been used by scammers, and I will also file a complaint with my local PD.
