I was contacted by these individuals who stated they would help lower my Student Loans before my wages got garnished. They called me and I looked them up online. There is a website for this company, but this lady is claiming to be Lindsey Banghart | Senior Account Manage. She stated she no longer is in CA but in AZ? I have them all my information, and set up a payment t plan with them. Then I received an email from the Department of Education who informed me that my account was changed. I called them and informed them what I just signed myself to, meaning I filled out a whole application over the phone with them, and they informed me that it was a scam and they are not affiliated with them. I changed my bank info and etc to make sure they couldn’t get any of my money.

Nuera Consulting Group is not a scam. They are a third party document preparation company that assists student loan borrowers with consolidations and enrollment into federal repayment plans. Lindsey is an employee that works from her home in AZ while the company is based out of CA. Nuera Consulting Group prepares the necessary documentation on the client's behalf and ensures proper submission/completion. They are a credible and legitimate company.
