Recorded a call and they used my name to ask if they had the correct number. As soon as I answered yes they hung up. They sounded like English was a second language.

- Westminster, CO, USA

Indian man in a call center said he was calling about a prescription. He was clearly asking questions to get me to say "Yes".

Caller asked if I could hear her? I said "yes, I hear you". She said she wanted to see if she could lower my insurance cost. She asked me the year, I told her 2010. She repeated that and asked me if that was correct. I said "yes".

- Denver, CO, USA

11:24 a.m. 4/7/17 received a call in which the caller acted like there was problems with her headset and was having trouble hearing me. Unfortunately I answered yes to the query of if she could hear me. I realized immediately that this must be the "say yes" scam and hung up. I have received one other call from these same people but the previous time I did not say "yes" and hung up. The calls were similar in that there seems to not be a clear connection and then the caller says that she is having trouble with her headset and then goes into a script about I have stayed with their resort previously.

Giggling lady asking me was I (my name) I said no then she preceded to tell me i won a cruise and did this sound good to me. Told her no and she asked if she could transfer me to her supervisor. Said no and hung up

On March 29 at 9:42 AM MST, I received a telephone call from 720-346-8630 Colorado. A mid-thirties lady said she did not expect the phone to be answered, her phone headset is not on. She asked, If I hear her. I said ' Yes" . Then a robot starting telling me, that I won a prize - a vacation to Orlando..." I hang -up. Later in the day, I have learned about this scam.

- Louisville, CO, USA

Caller asked my name and I answered "Yes". Then went into hard sell so I hung up. They did get me to respond with yes and that I feel is trying to get my voice to use in fraud.

- Denver, CO, USA

They ask if you would like to speak to a representative in which I said yes so I can tell someone to stop calling me 3 times a day. They hung up which leads me to believe they just needed me to say yes.

- Aurora, CO, USA

I was asked "Hello. Can you hear me?" I said no and hung up the phone.

This was the phone call that starts with "I'm having trouble with my headset, can you hear me now" that is being widely reported.

- Longmont, CO, USA

The caller said sorry I was having trouble with my headset, can you hear me? Unfortunately, I responded with "yes."

- Denver, CO, USA

Recording of a person saying that they are bobbling their headset, then asking if you can hear them

2 phone calls, one on land line and the other on mobile. Goes something like this: "Hi, this is Emily. Oops my head set fell off. Did you hear me?" They clearly want you to say "Yes" which I did before I realized this was a recording. She goes on to talk about something else like a vacation. If you call back, they say the survey is over. I feel duped into saying "Yes".

- Parker, CO, USA

a woman called and I kept saying hello and she finally said oh sorry I just had a fight with her husband and she said sorry about the delay, can you hear me now and I believe I said yes and then she goes in to a speel about how I've stayed at one of their resorts in the past and I now have won a trip to Orlando Florida. I told her I'm not interested as she kept talking and I hung up

- Boulder, CO, USA

Receive random automated phone call where the caller asks if you can hear them, thereby making you say "yes" over the phone.

- Morrison, CO, USA

A can you hear me scam call.

- Broomfield, CO, USA

It's the scam where they call and try to get you to say yes

- Broomfield, CO, USA

The caller is a recorded voice that fakes having a problem "with my headset" to convince you that she's real and not a recording. Calls over and over again with the same recording, even though I have hung up twice before. Is it a real sales call? Hard to tell because I can't ask any questions. The fakery makes me suspect a scam.

- Aurora, CO, USA

I answered the call with "hello" and there was no response. I said "hello" again and was just about to hang up when a young woman's voice said "Oh, are you there?" I instinctively answered "Yes." "Oh goood, I was having trouble with my headset." She replied. Then she went into reading a script saying how I had recently stayed at "one of their resorts" (I have never stayed at any resort) and how I was entitled to a cruise because of it. I tried to interrupt her and ask who it was she thought she was calling, but she just carried on with her pitch and I hung up.
