I received a text from them. My son played football for an HBCU, and they had his picture and everything - looked very believable until I spoke to my son - just infuriating the lengths these scammers go to

I received a text message from Nil Club stating that my nephew, a baseball player for an Ivy League University, provided my information and was asking for NIL (name, image, likeness) donations for his team. Upon checking, my nephew did not provide my information, nor is the team participating in any NIL programs. The text directed to a link at nilclub.com. This website is operated by a company called YOKE.
