Type of a scam Employment
I was told to be online to zoon at 7am the next morning. The next day I was told that I had been accepted to the position and that I would be receiving a check to purchase the work equipment through their official IBM site. This is all out of order and I told him I would wait for the official letter of acceptance. He asked for my mailing address. I gave him my PO box only. I just received an email with 3 attachments. One a generic looking offer of employment that anyone could have created using company info gathered from their website, the second one was a welcome letter, also generic. The other was a job application asking for more information about me. It seems a little late to be applying and accepting at the same time. I told them in the zoom chat that I was reporting them to the BBB. Let's see if I still get a check in the mail. They string out the process and provide bits of company information that make it sound legitimate. These are truly horrible people that should put their skills to use in real jobs.
