Applied with Natural Green Technology Inc. via Indeed for a sales role in the cannabis industry. During the interview with "co-founder" David Deng ([email protected], +1 626 586 0470) told me his company also supplies cosmetics packaging (my current field for 15+ years). I found this odd to bring up during the interview and not have anywhere on job listing. The more I continued with the initial 30 minute interview, the less comfortable I felt. Deng informed me that his company attended the same trade show I just returned from last week (Cosmoprof Las Vegas). I checked the exhibitor list and he is NOT listed. After what turned into my free 30 min sales lesson on how to succeed at that show, he immediately rejected my application seconds after telling me he'd like to speak with his associate. There is no associate on his "company website." To see if he would respond I followed up and asked for feedback as a professional courtesy to which he ignored me. The more research I did, the more I learned this is a fake scam for Chinese manufacturers to steal business from US cosmetic businesses. I am writing to address a false accusation made against me and my company, Natural Green Technology Inc., regarding a recent job interview process. The claim made by C. Wildermanis both misleading and untrue.

About the Job Posting:
The role advertised was accurately described as a sales position in the package industry. Any additional topics discussed during the interview were relevant to exploring the candidate’s experience and suitability for the role.

Cosmoprof Las Vegas:
While my company did not exhibit at the event, I mentioned our attendance to highlight our active involvement in the industry. Any inference beyond this statement is incorrect.

Interview Rejection:
The decision not to proceed with the candidate was based solely on their alignment with our company’s requirements and expectations. Professional courtesy was maintained throughout the interview, and the candidate was treated respectfully.

Allegation of Fraud:
The claim that my company is a "fake scam" designed to exploit U.S. businesses is baseless, defamatory, and harmful to my professional reputation.

I respectfully request that any platform where this accusation is shared review the evidence and take appropriate action against false claims that tarnish reputations unjustly.
