Called left message first on my husband's voicemail as it was for him. They then called my cell and it was from a local Akron, OH # of 330-800-1438 so I answered it knowing it was probably a scam. She said she was looking for my my husband (by name) and I said I could take a message as I was his wife and I asked what it was regarding and she said a pending case against him in the county court where we live and that he was being served documents. Of course I tried to get more info from her and she said she couldn't disclose that by law. I told her I to give me the info and I would google it and verify it was a scam and she hung up. Then she called on our land line and I answered that and told her to give me the info and she gave me a ph# of 888-362-5934 and case # of 668978. I then googled the name of the co she said she was with the first thing that came up with ScamPulse.com Scam Alert lol. Luckilly we are pretty good at catching these but I feel for those who are not and get caught up by them and lose money or personal info. I work at a bank so I know the signs. Please do your research folks, most legitimate businesses will not ask you for any personal information and unless I initiated the call and know who I'm calling 100%, I don't give it out.
