Scammer alert - child safe kit app and call from National Income

Yesterday I received a phone call about the Child Safety Kit after filling out a Facebook form. The guy name Grant stated that we needed to schedule a zoom call to go over the details about how to setup the child safe kit app. I was confused as to why someone will need to be on zoom to set up an app. That should be self explanatory but he said there is a code that needs to be put in. He insisted that we need to set up an appt right away because he has lots of other families to help and his schedule is fully booked on the weekends. He says he work with police unions and teachers unions as a free benefit service. To me it sounded weird and shady. But he has all my information. That I filled out on a link from Facebook. Like my name, email, house address and phone number. I started being concern so I look online for scams related to this and I found lots of people saying same things. So this must be not too Kosher. I am schedule for a zoom meeting with this person this evening at 8pm. I plan to just avoid the call and zoom.

The email came from [email protected] and his number is 646-659-6356

The guy on the phone did sound professional and did sound like he knew what he was saying and was nice on the phone. But who knows. He text me his zoom meeting link and also an email of the same. When I asked what’s the name of the app he say it call Child safe kit. Which does exist as an app. But only about 543 people review it which makes it seem sketchy to me… if it’s legit and so great it should have over thousands and millions of reviews.
