I was on-line. My computer froze. A message appeared at the lower left stating a problem had occured, call this to fix it. I did. They told me they were Microsoft technicians and could fix my problem. I'm gullible so I gave Kevin remote access to my computer. He showed me things that needed repaired. He worked at it, got it working, sold me a 3 year software support program for $ 599.99. A couple days later he called back to do a system check up to see "if all was working correctly" and tried to sell me something else. Then I got suspicious. I call my regular repair man. He tells me this is a scam, fixed the changes Kevin had made. He told me the error messages I received were installed by Kevin's company so he was well able to repair them and make things look good to me again. I've been scammed!! feel foolish and don't know what to do about it.
