Contractor took deposit and never started project
In May 2026, we contracted with My Son's Landscape Group to complete a landscaping, fencing, and deck project. The project cost estimate was $26,605. On May 12, 2026, we paid a 50% deposit of $13,302.50. The project work was never started or completed. We made dozens of attempts to communicate with Ulises and gave several options for him to provide project updates. When it became clear that the work was not going to be completed in a timely manner, we demanded multiple times for him to refund our deposit. This was on June 8, 2026. Ulises stopped communicating with us and never refunded the deposit.
