Product in question was labeled as a "dumbbell set" with a description that made it sound like it was manufactured by Bowflex, with the item shipping from Canada. The actual product was a single dumbbell made to look like the official product but was a knockoff. When I asked to return the product, I was offered options other than a return and refund. When I persisted, they informed me that the item would have to be returned to China with shipping at my expense. The cost of shipping a heavy weight to China exceeds the value of the product.

AVOID MYGYM USA AT ALL COSTS

I purchased two dumbbells from them in two separate orders (I noticed after I made the initial purchase that they were not in fact a set, and so I placed another order for a second one). I have yet to receive anything more than a month later. I emailed them asking them to cancel the orders and refund my money, and also made a complaint with my credit card company. They finally responded and indicated that they canceled one of my orders yet will not refund me the money. Makes zero sense. They did not cancel my second order, and yet they also refuse to ship the item. Basically, if the price appears too good to be true, it often is. This is not a legitimate business. Avoid at all costs.

on the website advertise that you get 2 dumbbells. Shipment takes weeks to get here. Shipment comes but only with one dumbbell. Second red flag is that you can never get through to a person to dispute by phone. You ae able to leave a message but no one ever gets back to you. Leaving emails are the only way someone gets back to you and response time takes days. You are also responsible for cost on returning idem. Dumbbell cost me $200. Company says you have 30 days to return but to return the idem with the weight being so heavy it will cost more than what I paid. So now I am stuck with a idem that I no longer am interested in. Unsetting and costly mistake. I will never buy from them again or any other site without looking at reviews first.

Company advertises a dumbbell set for $199. The company only delivers a single dumbbell. They will not send the second dumbbell. They claim a set is a single dumbbell. All pictures in the advertisement show 2 (set) of dumbbells.

I was specifically looking for Bowflex 552 dumbbells. When you search online sales there are some very obvious fake sales; however, mygymusa was very deceitful but seemed to be completely above bird with a whole website and lots of products. The price seemed to good to be true and turns out it was. First, it is not Bowflex. While it doesn’t say it is there dumbbells it on Bowflex 552 search at top and picture is identical (minus name) of Bowflex. Second, I specifically searched for a set (pair) as many that were cheaper were single. Many made that very clear. This website however gave a price and the product said it was a set. After fact near the end of description it does say box will contain only one dumbbell. Why advertise for a pair and then say product would not contain a pair. Final thing is the return policy. They advertised with streamer that they I’ve a hassle free 30 day return policy. I tried to return within days and they wanted to know why. When I explained I had been deceived and accept some responsibility but would just prefer to return it as I don’t really trust them, they advised the best they could do is a 15% refund. This is clearly a scam.

Mygymusa.com is misleading and dishonest. Their dumbbell "set" only comes with one weight despite showing two weights in their item description. When trying to return the item, the company does not respond despite guaranteeing a 30 day hassle free return.

This company will not ship the products that you buy, and will not allow you to cancel the purchase. I purchased an item in Jan, and it is now June and they have not shipped it. After many attempts to get an update, they can not tell me anything about my order. Never buy anything from them. This company should be shut down and prosecuted for fraud.
