I’ve gotten this exact proposal before from a different email, word for word, which is how I know it’s a scam. The scammer sends-

Hello (name), Will you be available to work on Wedding illustration? I got your Contact details from Artstation Kindly let me know if you are still available so I can send further information to your email.?

Last time I continued the conversation, just in case it was real. The scammer talks about all the pressure they’re under and the specifics of what they’re looking for, but for one thing they’re oddly pushy and for another they want to send a physical bank check, and refuse all other possible payment options. After a couple attempts to work out something else they stop answering.
