Our company is Montgomery & Associates, PLLC located in Boise, Idaho. We are a local accounting firm. We received three calls in the last week from three separate individuals; two from Oregon and one in Idaho. Each individual reported being contacted by a company telling them they were "Montgomery & Associates" and that they were calling regarding a case or lawsuit against the individual. In one instance they offered to reduce the lawsuit from $9854 to $6000 if the individual called back immediately to 888-223-0050. In each case a message was left with a phone number to call and a case number. For the person contacted in Idaho, a call & text came from 208-261-7726 regarding that person's father and to call back immediately to 888-213-4944 using Case# 24-001266. Luckily they Googled us and called our direct line only to find out they had been contacted by scammers.

We tried calling both 888 #s which was answered as "Montgomery & Associates", and said they were out of California but refused to give us a valid address. Then once we asked any questions, they hung up. We definitely feel our companies name is being used for a phishing scam and wish to report the incidents. We have also filed a report with the FTC.
