I purchased 6 cheesecakes for my daughter wedding ?. I messaged her under her new name Beth Ann Ashton from Miss Carlys Cheesecake. She said don't worry what others are saying I will have your cakes ready I know its important day. One week prior she messaged on her fb that she was not making any cakes for awhile I messaged her many times no reply . I had to purchase all new two days before very stressful ?

Type of a scam Online Purchase

I purchased a cheesecake from Carly in April from one of her cheesecake auctions. She asked that payment be made as soon as the auction was over. I sent over payment pm the bove dates via etransfer. She ended up asking me to reschedule my cheesecake pickup twice to start with. The last dtae for pickup was June 10. I messaged her on Monday June 6, 2022 to make sure my cheesecake would be readyf or Friday pickup. At this point I had already read about her camming other poele but was hoping I would get me cheesecake. She made another excuse that she had no stove in her new place that she had just moved to May 31, 2022. At this point, I told her I would like a refund on friday June 10 if she wasn't going to be able to give me the goods I had purchased. she had already deleted her Miss arly;s Cheesecake page on Facebook and was now running under the alias Beth Ann Ashton. I noticed on Thursday June 9, 2022 that she had blocked me from seeing anything other than her public posts. Friday, I checked and she had me blocked on messenger and facebook. I had also preparid for a grad cake for my daugthers graduation and haven't received my refund or goods for either purchase/ I have reported her to the bank along with many others. The total of purchases that I did not receive goods or a refund for are $160.00cad. As she recently moved and not given anyone her new address or phone number, I no have no way to contact her regarding trying to collect my refund/moneys owed to me. From what I have read on Facebook, there are many other poepl that Carly has stolen from and scammed.
