I just received a call from a local number however they said they were from a company named Midway Mitigation Group who stated they had a civil complaint abd they had my Social Security number. Very suspicious call. They called my cell and said they had sent me a letter.

called said they were hired by capital one to collect a payday loan they claim to be a law firm. I never got any kind of payday loan ever and loan

was deposited in my checking for 745.00 in 2013 now they said I owe 2,947.00 and they said they were bringing me to court, garnish my pay etc..I asked where is the paper work I am not paying. called my job # the called from several different #'s

in addition to this they knew my ss# and called all my family member including my elderly parents 86 and 87 got them all upset. when I google the # it said it was a scam and others were getting the same message.

please can you research

When this group contacted me they provided me with my name and SS number. They informed me that I had made payment arrangements for an owed debt which four payments were made on a credit card ending in 5991. They were calling because the last payment did not go through due to insufficient funds on the card. I have not made any such arrangements nor do I possess this card. I spoke with Erin Palmer in Customer Service and Arthur Belle in litigation. They tell me there is a conversation recorded regarding the arrangements which I have asked to hear but have been denied access.
