This company threatened me with garnishing my bank account which is not feasible also checked with credit card company and owed nothing to credit card company and they scammed me out of the money so I am in the middle of claims with my credit card company

Update from yesterday: the "Midway Mitigation Group" scam has, in fact, started scamming under the "Diversified Solutions" name. This morning I called one of Midway's old numbers and a woman claiming to be "Amanda Lewis" answered saying "Diversified Solutions." I acted confused and said, "I think I called the wrong number. I was calling Midway Mitigation Group." She replied, "That was our former name."

NOTE: I've traced them to Ohio and Atlanta, which coincidentally just happens to be where an identical scam was based that the FTC put out of business in 2013, so it's possible some of the grifters from that scam have resurrected it:

I believe Diversified Solutions is the newest incarnation of a fraudster ring that previously operated as "Midway Mitigation Group" supposedly out of Phoenix. I have a client (I am a lawyer experienced in prosecuting fraud) who received multiple calls this past week threatening them with the filing of a lawsuit if they don't call back by the end of the day to their "mediation" service. Each time I call them back they initially try to sound legit, but when I press them for details, they end up hanging up on me. On my last call, "Kelly" started out nice, even gave me the company's purported headquarters address (3000 Roswell Road, Atlanta, GA 30301---turns out fake: that address is apparently a condo), but when I pressed her for more specifics, she freaked out and hung up on me. In the hope this will alert others to their scam, the following are some of phone numbers I've compiled for them:

BTW, when I asked, they insisted they were NOT a collections agency--obviously wanting to gloss over their NON-compliance with the FDCPA and similar state debtor protection laws.

I would urge everyone encountering these scammers to file a report with the Federal Trade Commission as well as with the consumer fraud unit of your state Attorney General.

I had similar experience in June where a company called Diversified Solutions Firm started calling me and threatening I was soon going to civil court for an unpaid dept. They Wanted $950 to settle, they were calling my family as well at home and their work. The letter they sent me looked somewhat convincing but at the same time not.
I decided to send them a Cease and Desist letter and it came back undeliverable. Glad I didn’t give in. See their address in image below.

Got a call from these people, claiming i wrote some bad check, when i have never even written a check before. I asked them for name, address and phone number. Lady said this is Midway Mitigation grp and said hold for your rep and never came back to the phone. Ironic these scam calls start when the irs is sending out emergency relief.

Ryan Thompson from this company called me regarding a credit card I never had. He was staying he was calling from buffalo however had a local phone number. I keep asking this company to send me something in writing and they never do. Only harass me on the phone.

they call me stating i owe a web loan which I do not and said that they got a judment against me for 2000 and I asked how when I have never been served they said this call was to give me the opportunity to pay before court. I got the same call. They said I owed money on a online payday loan. I foolishly gave them my bank debit card. The first lady I talked to was Erin Palmer. She gave me a 360 phone number which I found online belonging to Mariah Bocanegra. A physical address was on there. I called them on a Monday on the area code 253 number and finally was able to rich them. I told them I weed the verification of the loan. She said they just collected the debt and they could not provide that. I said this is my right. She then put me through her boss. He said they can take me to small claims court. Which I can not afford. I asked when did those supposed loan take place. He said October 2014 after I hung up I thought no way. That was the month I found out there was something wrong with my neck so I started going through getting good MRIS and referrals, I recalled I 2011 I rejected a online loan. What I believe is they pushed up that date for a debt collection to be legitimate. Because they can not collect on a debt past 6 years. So I will contact my bank to put a stop to the payment. The phone number on the document they emailed me matches the phone number people have given on this site.

I got a call from them and set up monthly payments for $107.54. I did use to have a bank account with the one they said I got a internet loan for over $1,000 ten years ago. I don’t remember doing that loan! And I ask why did they wait 10 years to try get the money back?! Makes no sense! But I set up payments cause they threatened to freeze my card and bank account I have now! I’m on disibility and can’t let that happen. I felt like I had to set up payments with them.

I recieved a call this morning. The person said they were Midway Midigation Group. They told me the last 4 of my social and then started saying I had an old account that was never satisfied. The account had supposedly been in collections for 5 years. They also said it was for some type of loan.

I explained that this was not something I had done. I asked for the name of the company and they read off 6 or 7 companies. I told them there had to be a specific company and also asked what bank it was deposited into. He had no reply. Then I was transferred to a woman that was rude as hell and over talked me constantly. I explained to her again, this was not me, I didn't have a checking account at the time they were referring to and she said, then you picked the money up. She told me to have me tell my attorney call them, because she was going to freeze all bank accounts I have as well as credit cards.

By this time I was pretty sure that it was a scam, so I hung up. She called back 6 times. The last time I informed her that I was reporting them to the BBB. Haven't received another call.

The company is Midway Midigation Group and the phone number is 952-314-5579.

Beware people, don't offer any information and Google the company and phone number. Allot of scammers out there.

Debt collections:

I received a call from them saying that I owe money and that they are taking me to court over a payday loan. They say I owe $3,664.11. The call came from a Las Cruces New Mexcio phone number 575-680-1292 and they said to call back 480-437-2067. They said it is case number 61446. The people were very unprofessional.

After thinking I was speaking to a legitimate collection/mitigation team at Midway, sent official email and all, I was advised this was likely a fraud. They will stop at nothing to harass family, prior co-workers, etc. When I called back and questioned who they were representing collections or mitigation for, like the actual company, the lady, Erin became very defensive and argumentative, 360 from my conversation with her not even less than one hour ago. with me and then told me "you are lying!" and hung up on me. That solidified in my mind that they are NOT legit nor of any professional organization of quality. So sad, especially with everything going on in the world today. Beware all.

The next day after I posted Midway Mitigation Group debt collection agency as scammers a guy who could hardly speak english called saying he was from my county clerk of courts office. I told him to quit calling me and harassing me. He said I was going to regret my actions so I hung up. My son was with me and this guy called right back my son told him to leave me along and they exchanged some more words and finally this guy hung up. My son notice this guy called from a local number so he called it right back in which it said this number was not a working number. I then called my county clerk of courts explained to them what happened and she looked my name up and said there is no judgements against me. Really need to watch theses scammer they are really persistent and sound liget.

They keep harassing me, after I gave them $110 on auto renew on my debit card, they still kept calling me about my debt. I googled them and saw this information that they are a scam, I cancelled my debit card, and I’m trying to dispute the charge on my account. If they were legit, I would’ve had mail from them. I’m in the process of paying off other creditors and they didn’t behave the way this company is. They give you a scary voicemail as well. I can’t seem, to have them leave me alone and I keep blocking the different numbers they call on.

Said I got a loan from Cashnetusa when I worked at place of my last employment. Which was back in 2006 since I worked. This person kept saying we been trying to contact you but you kept hanging up on us saying we are scammers. They said last time they contacted me was in 2018 and I hung up on that person. They started again contacting me March 9, 2020 this time I listen to this lady and she said I owed for a loan I got from Cashnetusa. I kept telling her I was not aware of ever getting a cash loan from Cashnetusa and there was no record of this at my banking institution either. What scared me was she had place I used to work at, my SS#, where I bank at, and county I live in. She said if I did not make arrangements to pay this loan, they would contact the county I live in courts and have all my credit/debit cards and bank accounts under my SS# frozen. This scared me because I need access to my accounts to pay living expenses as I live on a fixed income being disabled. I provided them my debit card information and set up a payment plan. After being very upset over this and knowing I never recieved a loan from Cashnetusa any time I decided to look them up online and find this company does not even exist. Also found this site telling of others being scammed or attempted scam. I called my banking institution told them what happened and they cancelled my debit card. They said contact BBB and let them what took place and also contact county courts I live in and let them know what took place.

They call and tell you that you've been named a respondent in a civil complaint. Add bogus case file number and tell you they want to verify assets and employment. Called them back and they took my number off the list since they were calling for my husband.
Word to the wise...monitor your credit reports. Dont let scammers try to get money from you. Ask them to send notification via email. Dont give out any info even if they have info about you.

I received a mysterious call from a company saying that I owed a payday loan back in 2015. They told me that I’m going to be charged not following through a payment arrangement with them. I decided to Google the company. I got scammed out of $460. The Midway Mitigation phone number is 704-307-4218. I also have included a copy of the confirmation email when they withdraw the monies from my account.

I have been receiving calls from a local number and everytime it's a recording about a civil complaint against me. So I called the number and talked to a lady. She said she needed my ss number to open my file. I told her I would not give it to her and she said she already had my ss number in front of her, but she needed me to to tell her to confirm it. I told her if she has it in front of her then tell me first and I'll confirm it. I told her to just give me the last four and she wouldn't. So I told her I wouldn't either. I told her to mail me the complaint and she said she couldn't unless I gave her my ss number. So it ended in a standstill. Does anyone know anything about this company? It just seemed suspicious to me

I received a mysterious voicemail that sounded as if I’m going to be charged with something. It had a threatening tone. They did not say what company they were calling from so I called them back.
