I too am a massage therapist, got a text message looking for an appointment for his wife as a surprise... sent him an invoice to be paid prior to appointment to hold the spot and he responded with he'd send a cashier check cause he's on a ship. It was sketchy. Screenshots are attached, the language was off a little on the thread though, so I googled the number and saw it's a scammer... they are still phishing. Thank you to the initial therapist, I've already canceled the appointment and blocked.

I am a massage therapist and this person tried to book an appointment for his wife. I tried to take a credit card number to hold the reservation and he told me that he would deliver a certified check at the time of the treatment and I could cash it at the bank 5 days after.
