Applied online, website and posting seemed legit. Was contacted a few days later for an interview. Asked to download Teams for the interview so I did thinking it would be video or via a call. The entire interview was through the chat feature. Odd, but it was for a part time remote position. Next day I was told to reach out via Teams chat at 6:50 their time. I did and twenty minutes later they explained that i did get the job Through text, again. Gave me instructions about next steps. A few days go by and I get a flurry of emails from HR welcoming me to the company and next steps to set up training and procure the necessary equipment needed. I went through the steps with a new leon via chat on their website. Get to the part about having to have my own credit card to procure the equipment and they need a photocopy of it front and. back. I ask why and they assured me I could use the checks from the checkbook to reimburse myself as needed. I gave them a piece of my mind and got out of there. I have screenshots and emails as proof, if needed.

I applied and had an interview with a ***** ***** over Microsoft Teams, accepted the job offer and fill out everything that normally comes with a job paperwork (payroll, w4, ID information, SSN, etc.) nothing out of the ordinary. I was then contacted to whom would be my direct supervisor ****** *******. We had correspondence and everything seemed to be going well and started ordering supplies through my credit card as they were reimbursing me (or so I thought), the amount got returned and put me over my credit card limit. They also sent me a check to cash as at the time for the rest of my supplies which bounced in my bank account now leaving me negative in both accounts. I am devastated and trying to find the right steps to moving forward as I am out money I do not have and they have all of my personal information.
