I got a call from Patty and she was very nice she called me about my rates being over 2% after I sent my statement Jay called me back and put me on a Small Business pricing my monthly charges went down by more than a third. I am very happy.

Unbelievable! What kind of scams people do!!

I had the similar call last week! Same email as listed in the above complaint, same scenario! She wanted to send a doc-u-sign and I told her no, to call back when the owner was in next week. She did not call when she said she was and I got suspicious.
I called my merchant company direct and asked about them and they said never heard of them. Glad I called!

Lady called saying I was over billed for PCI compliance and when she asked me to read the charges on my statement, there were no added fees. She wanted me to send my statements but when I asked her to tell me my merchant account number or the address that was on my statement, she was unable to produce any of those. She thought sending an email would convince me the company was legit but a quick Google search found these reports. They were pretty good though, I almost believed them.

Just had the same thing happen.
But the lady said I had been charged PCI Compliance fees and she was going to reverse those fees.

The "RED FLAG" for me was she wanted me to send her my statements.
She was asking me to email her at [email protected] so I called my CC processing company!

I also did a WHOIS on the domain and it's located (Registered) through a domain privacy company.

Type of a scam Credit Cards

Scammer contacted us saying he was with the company that we use to process credit card transactions for our business. He stated that we had been overcharged by Visa and MasterCard for all transactions over the last 6 months. He said they were going to rectify the charges by giving us a lower rate on our credit card transactions through the business. He sent a form to be filled out which included Social Security numbers and dates of birth. We called our credit card machine company and found out he was not affiliated with them. He was either trying to get our personal information, or trying to get our credit card machine transactions to switch over to his company.

He went by Richard Price. His "Company" was Merchant Service SW. His website of www.merchantsvcinc.com does not exist.

When we called him and told him we knew he wasn't affiliated with our credit card company, he hung up on us.

Steer clear of this scam. Good luck.

I had something similar happen to me today and I wish I had been a little smarter. They got me to send them a merchant statement to [email protected] so they could verify I had been over charged. I talked to three different people. One of them helped me navigate my way through my access site which to me is very confusing and I'd never really figured out how to make my way around in anyway.
Wow. I'm hoping nothing comes of this. I only sent out my statement.
